2018 Summer Music Camps

Summer Sounds is a great place for your child to make some new friends while playing music in a fun and educational setting. Through music, students develop social skills, self-discipline, patience, determination and self-esteem. When the students have completed the three week camp, they will be better musicians and they will have many lasting memories and meaningful friendships. During the three week camp students will perform so many different ensembles: concert band, string orchestra, chamber strings, guitar ensemble, jazz ensemble, woodwind ensemble, percussion ensemble, or brass ensemble. They will also have the choice of learning how to play the guitar, keyboard, a second band or string instrument, use GarageBand to compose, sing in a choir, or bucket drumming and there will be many opportunities to perform for parents throughout the program as well as a evening concert on Thursday July 19th.
