Greetings of the Advisory Board

A Powerful Path

What began a few years ago as an apparently extremely daring start up in the fields
of real estate and finance – FAKT AG’s aspiration to go new ways with new ideas in
the Ruhr Area, to also revitalise property sites, to establish new cooperations and
gain partners from miscellaneous branches – has in the meantime led to a sustain-
able platform with regard to content, function and finance. Important lighthouse
projects in Essen, Herne, Bochum, Marl and other sites in the Ruhr Area are show­
cases for the enhancement of these sites and for the trustful cooperation with the
respective local authorities. At present, the next steps towards growth are being
taken, both in a national context with large-scale projects in Saxony Anhalt and
North Rhine Westfalia and in an international context with the “Landmarkenprojekt”
in Hegyeshalom in north western Hungary. This area is close to the Austrian/Hungarian
border, covering approximately 330 hectares with a use combination including power
generation, logistics, agricultural production, fish farming etc. The geographical
position is ideal with a direct connection to the Vienna to Budapest railway line and
immediate motorway access to Budapest, Vienna and Bratislava.

We monitor and accompany this courageous growth of the FAKT AG with conviction,

                       project in Hungary or the acquisition of the Han-
                       sa Center in Bottrop, have led to a sustainable
                       expansion of our range. In addition, there is an
