Olsen Cruises Whether you have cruised before or if this is your first time, a Fred. Olsen Cruise is the perfect choice. Their ships are a blend of the perfect size, timeless and elegant whilst, boasting all the facilities that you need for a perfect holiday. Smaller but spacious A smaller ship doesn’t mean less space; far from it. Each room is comfortably sized, with all that you’ll need to enjoy your holiday.

In fact, the rooms are comparable to those on some of the mammoth cruise ships.

With fewer people on board it’s easy to find a quiet spot to relax in peace with a drink or a good book. There’s room to stretch out by the pool and you can get ashore more quickly too. And when you’re ashore, you’re seeing the best of each port of call with hundreds – not thousands – of others, giving you a much more authentic experience. Service with a smile Each member of the Fred. Olsen team has been carefully selected for their warm and welcoming personalities. The quality of their people, supported by training and development, ensures they will give you a great holiday: in guest feedback the staff are always the most highly-rated aspect of the whole experience.

What’s included with your cruise fare One reason why so many people choose to cruise with Fred. Olsen is that they include so much in the cruise price, giving real peace of mind. The following benefits all come as standard: • Comfortable, stylish rooms and suites with Smart TV, hairdryer, tea & coffee making facilities and individually controlled air conditioning.

• Irresistible choice of cuisine every day throughout your cruise – with five-course à la carte dinners, casual breakfast and lunch buffets, late-night snacks and more • Unlimited, self-service tea and coffee at selected venues, afternoon tea (standard) with sandwiches and cakes, and in-room sandwiches and snacks • Full use of on board leisure facilities including gym, swimming pools and Jacuzzis • A wide variety of engaging on board activities and lectures throughout the day • A full programme of evening entertainment, including dancing, cabaret shows, comedy and live music • Formal welcome and/or farewell Captain’s Drinks Party and Gala Buffet (Gala Buffet not available on Short Breaks) • All UK port taxes • Hassle-free luggage porterage between your room and the drop- off/pick-up point • Please note that these cruises are escorted by Roberts Travel to the port or departure only Just relax Whether it’s a cosy corner to lose yourself in a book, watching the world go by on a quiet part of the deck, stretching out on a sun-lounger by the pool or soothing away stresses in the Jacuzzi, you’ll find all the time and space you need on the comfortable ships.

With fewer people on board you’ll always find space to unwind. Feel energised There’s nothing quite like an invigorating walk on your ship’s open deck, particularly when you can take in the fresh air and soak up the stunning scenery of a coastline, fjord or coral atoll. Work off some energy in our complimentary gyms and pools, or swing away in the golf nets. There’s even a tennis court for those sailing on Black Watch. All of the ships offer a variety of yoga, aerobics and Pilates classes in the fitness studio (chargeable to your on board account). These are suitable for everyone from beginners to regular gym-goers.

Divine dining & tempting treats Dining on board a Fred. Olsen cruise ship is a high point of every evening. You’ll find a menu of deliciously-tempting dishes expertly crafted by their chefs, and presented with the personal touch of Fred. Olsen’s famous on board service. Step into the main restaurants on board to start your day at sea in the best possible way: fresh fruit, cereals and pastries or a ‘full English’: the mix of light and hearty breakfasts will set you up for any adventure. Lunch can be as indulgent as you wish. There are buffets with hot and cold dishes, salads and irresistible desserts.

Or you’re always welcome to order from the menu, with a variety of dishes changing daily. Naturally, the main event is the fabulous, five-course à la carte dinner – a well-earned treat to round off your day of discovery. As you would expect with Fred. Olsen, all this is included with the price.

For a more relaxed option, the buffet restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. You’ll find the food just as good as in the main restaurants. Everyone deserves a little indulgence while on holiday, so in addition to the three meals a day, you’ll also find a complimentary afternoon tea is served with sandwiches, scones and cakes, along with fresh tea and coffee of course, while for those who may still be peckish at bedtime, the late night hot and cold buffet offers a few tasty delights to get you through the night.

Inspirational days A wide assortment of activities are provided on all cruises.

You’ll be treated to guest speakers and performers, art and craft lessons and fun quizzes, along with yoga, pilates and other fitness activities to suit your needs and interests. Memorable nights Night time entertainment is the high point of any cruise. When the lights go down, you’ll be treated to a selection of live shows ranging from music and cabaret to quick-fire stand-up comedy. Just relax, sit back and enjoy the fabulous acts with your favourite tipple or cocktail.

Following the show, you can stroll under the stars on deck, or dance the night away to your favourite tunes. And with their fabulous Dance Hosts, no-one goes too long without a dance partner. Itinerary timings Precise timings for a stay in port vary from place to place and from sailing to sailing. Arrival and departure times can change as a cruise progresses, so these are shown as approximate periods rather than exact times. They are as follows: Period Arrival or Depart From Early AM 05:00 – 09:59 Late AM 10:00 – 11:59 Early PM 12:00 – 15:59 Late PM 16:00 – 19:59 Late Night 20:00 onwards Cruise descriptions and shore tours The cruise itineraries described in this brochure include experiences that may be enjoyed independently and/or with Fred.

Olsen’s chargeable Shore Tours. In all cases, information is thoroughly researched to minimise the risk of errors, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of this information, which may change at any time. All Shore Tours are subject to availability and service operation and recommend that these are prebooked through Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines.

Formal nights For cruise durations longer than six nights, there will be at least one formal evening while you are on board. ‘Dress to impress’ is generally how most guests approach these events, with men in either a dinner jacket or dark suit and tie, and ladies often choosing to look fabulous in anything from a cocktail-style dress to a full-length ball gown. For those guests not wishing to join the formal evenings the buffet restaurant on all our ships has a relaxed, smart casual dress code every evening. Final details will be provided prior to departure.

Smart casual evenings Most evenings during your cruise will be smart casual, so you can feel totally relaxed through dinner and beyond.

A pair of trousers, chinos or smart (dark) jeans, coupled with a polo shirt or shirt is perfectly acceptable for men. The choice of a jacket or tie is equally fine. Ladies often choose from tailored trouser suits, casual separates or summer dresses. Daytime casual is perfectly acceptable with trainers, t-shirts, polo shirts and shorts popular in warmer climes (please note: these are not allowed in the restaurants for evening dining). Trousers and a sweater or jacket are recommended for cooler voyages. Please note: Your contract is with Roberts Travel as your principle.
