Come welcome Spring and toast to good health! The jury is still out on the various health claims of wine drinking, but let’s
taste a selection of the Californian ‘FitVine’ wines that purport to be healthier for us. You may have seen them on the
shelves -- let's quaff them together and see what we think. We’ll sip a selection of different whites and reds crafted to be
lower in sugar and sulfites made from pesticide-free, grapes. We’ll also include a few favorite reds NOT from FitVine – for
comparison since we want to be sure to enjoy our quaffs (even though we’re drinking for our health {wink, wink}).

Radio Hour, an evening devoted to sharing personal stories. Enjoy a wine and cheese spread and fill your heart as you
listen to stories or tell your own. Our theme for the evening will be chemistry. Story tellers should come prepared to share a
personal story describing a time in their lives where chemistry played a role—Love or friendship? Cooking or career? A
spontaneous combustion moment? In true “Moth” style, we will pick 10 people to tell stories and will keep stories to a
maximum of five minutes each. No scripts, no props, no stress. Maybe a few tears, definitely lots of laughter. Not sure what
The Moth is? Go to https://themoth.org/share-your-story for more info and to listen to episodes.

The New York Chinese Scholar’s Garden (NYCSG) is one of ONLY two authentic classical outdoor Chinese gardens built
in the United States. A team of 40 Chinese artists and craftspeople spent a year in China creating the Garden’s
components and another six months in Staten Island as craftsmen-in-residence at Snug Harbor to complete the
construction. Based on Ming Dynasty gardens (1368-1644 AD), it features magnificent rocks resembling mountains that
inspired the poetry and paintings of Confucian, Buddhist, and Taoist monks, as well as other scholars. Visitors can explore
eight pavilions, a bamboo forest path, waterfalls, a Koi-filled pond, Chinese calligraphy, and a variety of Ghongshi scholar’s
rocks including a 15-foot formation that towers over the central courtyard. We will car pool from the UUCP leaving at 8:45
am for the 100 minute trip. Lunch will be Dutch treat at the restaurant Blue. If time allows, we’ll also take a look at some of
the 83-acre campus’ other features. Formerly Sailors’ Snug Harbor, a home for retired sailors built in the 1800s, Snug
Harbor now houses numerous distinctive botanical gardens and an art collection. It is a National Historic Landmark District
and a proud Smithsonian Affiliate. Home around 5:30 PM. Children under 18 are free!

Donated By: Devin Livi. Tour of Princeton University grounds with the University's landscape architect. The PU campus can
be viewed as a vast arboretum, a carefully planned garden that, with its mix of exotic imports and native species of trees,
would never be duplicated in nature. During the first few decades of Princeton's existence in the mid-1700s, those who
passed along the King's Highway (Nassau Street) looked across a bare lot at Nassau Hall and the President's House
(Maclean). The campus has evolved from a barren landscape to the lush, park-like setting it is today. Come learn about the
evolution of the campus, its magnificent architecture, gardens and plantings. Also, new twist, learn about madness that is
reunions and see some of what goes on behind the scenes. Meet in front of PU Chapel.
