All sales are final. There will be no refunds or exchanges unless noted. Heathwood Hall Episcopal School shall not be
liable for natural disasters or acts of God. While every reasonable effort has been made to describe these items correctly,
all items and services are sold “where is” and “as is.” Auction items are not being sold by the donors; purchasers should
not ask for refunds or exchanges. Heathwood Hall Episcopal School is exempt from income taxation under Internal
Revenue Code section 501(c)(3). As such, the school is required in connection with the solicitation or receipt of quid pro
quo contributions in excess of $250 to provide a written statement that:
1. Informs the donor (purchaser) that the amount of the contribution that is deductible for income tax purposes is limited to
the excess of the amount of any money, and the value of any property other than money, contributed by the donor
(purchaser) over the value of the goods or services provided by the organization to the donor, and
2. Provides the donor (purchaser) with a good-faith estimate of the value of goods or services furnished to the donor
(purchaser) by the organization.

Quid pro quo contributions are payments made partly as a contribution and partly in consideration for goods and services
furnished to the donor (purchaser.)

Gifts to the school may be fully, partially or non-deductible by the donor (purchaser) for income tax purposes depending
upon the particular facts and circumstances. For more specific information about the current tax regulations, the donor
(purchaser) should contact a professional financial planner or tax consultant.

Because the auction catalog is published prior to the receipt of many items donated to our auction, the Heathwood Hall
Episcopal School Auction Team reserves the right to adjust descriptions and minimum bids as necessary. Please refer to
GiveSmart for the most up-to-date item descriptions and bidding information.
