Crown Motors Limited held a launch ceremony today for the all-new Toyota Prius C at its Kowloon
Bay showroom, attracting hundreds of media and VIP guests. The Deputy Chief Engineer of Toyota
Prius C, Mr. Hiroshi Hatada, flew in from Japan to join the ceremony. He along with Mr. Cedric So,
Managing Director of Crown Motors Ltd., jointly carried out the grand unveiling ceremony for the
all-new Toyota Prius C.

Toyota’s hybrids have always been industry pioneers for their environmental protection efficiency
and superior driving performance. The all-new Toyota Prius C continues this legacy of excellence
and adds even greater enhanced environmental protection, providing a highly interactive driving
experience for its owners. Equipped with a newly revamped Toyota hybrid synergy drive system that
incorporates state-of-art technology, the Prius C is designed to minimize size and weight. This
allows for dramatically reduced fuel consumption that results in an incredible 26.5 km/L on the road
with each kilometer costing just $0.6 in petrol. This is indeed the pinnacle masterpiece for a new
generation of fuel efficiency hybrids.

The all-new Toyota Prius C also displays a lighthearted playfulness through its distinctive exterior
design and striking blue Toyota badge, which aptly shows the dynamic personality of this hybrid
vehicle. In addition, it comes with a choice of nine different colours, so you can easily select the tone
that reveals your unique individual style. Its compact size gives the Prius C a light and agile
personality. The wide field of vision also makes it easy to control the car even for those with little
driving experience.
Inside, the Toyota Prius C underwent a very careful re-design, offering plenty of roomy comfort.
The engine placement and seating configuration successfully harmonise together to create greater

headroom. The battery as well is positioned under the back seats to open up a huge rear storage
space. In addition, the high efficiency battery comes with a 7-year factory warranty guarantee, which
reflects its quality and reliability.

Each amenity, too, reinforces this vehicle’s playful nature, unifying environmental protection
concepts with pure driving pleasure. Moreover, this is the first Toyota hybrid that provides a
3.5-inch high contrast colour TFT multi-information display monitor. This novel interactive

factory-installed audio system is equipped with a Bluetooth connection, external connection and
USB plug, making it compatible with most audio accessories and smartphones on the market today.
The LED headlamps also work to reduce electricity consumption while improving reaction times

In addition to conventional ABS, EBD and BA systems, the all-new Toyota Prius C is also equipped

Prius C could travel and the winner will be awarded with 1-year free petroleum*. The activity was a
total success and received great response. Participants have stayed closed to the updated status of the
Prius C on road through the official Toyota Facebook Fanpage, while the rising mileage of the
vehicle offered extensive excitement to the game. Lastly, the all-new Toyota Prius C created the
mileage of 910.8km in this activity after a few days of travel, undoubtedly the pinnacle masterpiece
for a new generation of fuel efficiency hybrids.

boards positioned on the roof above the back seats actuate the ventilation system, allowing the Prius

The result is less reliance on the car’s air-conditioning system, which conserves energy and at the
