Good To Go marketing burst in Sydney
Sydneysiders are being reminded that they are Good To Go to Queensland, with high-
profile out-of-home advertising in place, including this large format example at a
Sydney Westfield Shopping Centre. As well as out-of-home, the campaign is live on TV,
radio and social media advertising as it rolls out out across the State.

The significant burst of Good To Go advertising in Queensland’s largest domestic
visitor market has been running since borders re-opened to Greater Sydney. The aim of
the activity is to inspire consumers planning their next holiday and convert them to
Queensland, now that school is back and Christmas is over.

Advertising also continues across other states (with Victoria currently paused), as well
as throughout Queensland.

BIG4 partnership with TEQ
A retail partnership between TEQ and BIG4 has recently concluded, both exceeding
room night targets by over 22 per cent and booking targets by 15 per cent. Pleasingly,
the results exceeded pre-COVID bookings when compared to the same booking period
last year. This partnership forms part of TEQ’s strategy to capitalise on the on-going
demand for self-drive holidays as well as an attempt to increase a longer length of stay.
The partnership with BIG4 is one of many retail partnerships TEQ has in the market,
with several more scheduled between now and June, all aiming to drive bookings to
Queensland operators.

Restrictions are in place for visitors from Victoria and New Zealand, while travel to
Queensland from all other Australian states is unrestricted.

All visitors who have been in Victoria in the last 14 days need to complete a border
declaration for their arrival into Queensland. 'Greater Melbourne' (36 LGAs) is a
declared hotspot for at least 14 days from 1:00am AEST Saturday 13 February 2021. If

Queensland Health is also asking anyone in Queensland who has been in New South
Wales since 2 February 2021 to monitor their health and if they have any symptoms,
they should have a COVID-19 test and isolate until they have a result. They should also
check Victorian and NSW exposure sites and alerts and be tested if they have been at
any of these venues. Details here.
