Welcome swimmers! It’s a pleasure for our Oceanman Family to welcome you to
the first edition of Oceanman Yucatán.

We want to make sure you have an unforgettable experience along with the
community of Yucatán.

In the following pages you’ll find all the information you’ll need this weekend prior,
during and after the race.

 REGISTRATION

Registrations for Oceanman Yucatán 2019 are now closed.

 RACE DAY – SISAL
Sisal is located 45 minutes from the city of Mérida:

 TRANSPORTATION

Oceanman will provide free transportation to Sisal and back to Mérida during race
day for all competitors. If you’d like to buy transportation for anyone traveling with
you, you can do it on Saturday during the packet pickup. All buses will leave from
the parking lot of the Siglo XXI Convention Center (Right behind Packet Pickup).

 HOTELS
We have 3 host hotels within 500 meters of Packet pickup and transportation
meeting point. You can check them out at https://oceanman.mx/

Remember to mention you’re racing at Oceanman Yucatán to receive the
preferential rates.

Your participation in Oceanman Yucatán 2019 implies acceptance of all rules,
and it's responsibility of each swimmer to read and abide by these rules.

We want to make sure we're able to enjoy the seas for a long time to come, so
please make sure you take all your trash with you. any swimmers caught littering
will be subject to disqualification.

BUOY USAGE

 remember that the use of a personal safety buoy is mandatory.

 Swim Secure, Official Safety Partner, will loan all participants a brand
 new personal Tow Float buoy free of charge. you'll need to leave an official
 ID or a cash deposit of $500.00 MXN that will be returned at the end of
 the event. If you already own a personal buoy, you're welcome to use it.

Feeding points:
Oceanman 12 km: 3 km, 5.9 km, 8 km, 10 km and Finish line.
Half Oceanman: 3 km, 4.1 km and Finish line.
Sprint 2 km: Finish line.
Ocean Kids 250 y 500 mts: Finish line.

OTHER
Restrooms: portable restrooms will be available for all assistants 300 mts from
the start line.
