7 HUNTER CLASS SPECIFICATIONS The courses offered at this show will consist of at least eight fences with two changes of direction. The fences will simulate obstacles found in the hunting field. The area of the courtesy circle may be restricted by a mandatory line and will be indicated on the course diagram and designated by a physical barrier placed in the arena. Course diagrams will be posted at least one hour before the class. HUNTER SCHOOLING will take place in the sand hunter rings the day prior to the start of the horse show: Warm-up tickets will be available for $25 each. If available, one hunter ring with a course of jumps will be open for ticketed schooling.

If no arena is available during the show day, one arena will be open at the conclusion of the show for ticketed schooling until sunset. Hunter rings will be open from 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM each day for flat schooling only. No poling or offsets allowed. Orders of Go – Classes in the Hunter Rings will have specific starting times for each class and these times will be adhered to strictly. Each hunter class in the hunter rings will have an allotted amount of time. Classes will end at the scheduled finish time. Riders who have not shown by that time will not be allowed to show. Posted orders may be imposed at any time.

All entries must be made by 5:00 PM (or ½ hour after the last class, whichever occurs first) the day prior to each class. In the rated hunter rings a one-minute gate will be enforced, and trainer conflicts will not be allowed to delay the ring.
