We are pleased to inform you that competent authority of CBSE Chairman and Joint Director of Sports have given us
the responsibility to conduct the CBSE National Archery Championship for the year 2015 for Boys and Girls under 19
years age group has been allotted to Rajendra’s Academy Bhikanpur , Kanth Road , MORADABAD (U.P.)

This tournament shall be held from 30th April -2015 (Thursday) to 3rd May-2015 (Sunday). For detail Please see our

Kindly send your CBSE ONLINE entry. Entries for 12 Boys and 12 Girls will be accepted on first come first serve basis.
Please note that NO BY HAND /POST ENTRY WILL BE ACCEPTED as per CBSE guidelines.

All the participating Team coming from outside, should positively report at the venue for the tournament by 12 o’clock on
29th April-2015 (Wednesday), inauguration at 3 p.m. followed by meeting with all the Managers / Coaches & Officials.

RAJENDRA’s ACADEMY…………………at a Glance

Rajendra’s Academy Bhikanpur, Kanth Road MORADABAD (U.P.) is situated on the outer skirt
of MORADABAD on the state highway -49 with the lush green surroundings. It is an English medium
Coeducational CBSE school. The school is at the distance of 20km from Moradabad City.

The Institution is run under auspices of Rajendra’s Educational Society and it was established in the
year 2005.

We had organized CBSE East Zone Judo Championship in 2012-13.

BOARDING AND LODGING

1. Rajendra’s Academy will provide separate accommodation for Boys and Girls in the dormitories
   of the school rooms.

2. The Team managers and coaches are supposed to stay with their teams.

3. The payment for food and stay per head per day is Rs.350/- shall be deposited in advance at the
   account section and Advance Deposit of Rs.3000/- (Refundable) as security money.

4. School will provide only vegetarian food as per norms of CBSE.

5. The participating Student should bring cotton sheet .Mattresses, bed sheet will be provided by
   the school.

6. All the participating students are advised to carry their own mosquito repellants, lock & key for
   their own safety.

7. The team shall be responsible for their belongings and are advised not to carry costly items with
   them.

8. The participating Student must not put any damage to Rajendra’s Academy /school property. In
   case of any damage, the participating team will have to bear the cost though school is charging
   security money. But in case misconductor is not identified the penalty will be distributed among
   all the teams.

9. The team officials are requested to complete all the formalities and clear all the payments before
   their departure.

10. Every day last entry in the campus by 8:00pm. After 8:00pm no Team members will b e allowed
    to go out of the campus without permission.

11. The departing teams are requested to inform Four Hrs. prior from their departure to the Accounts
    Department for clearance of their accounts.

12. Timing of Meals & other details will be informed on arrival.
THE FOLLOWING ARE COMPULSORY /MANDATORY ALONG WITH THE ENTRY FORM:

1. To provide the team photograph, taken along the school principal and countersigned by him
   /her.

2. For students/Players studying in IX Std and above to provide CBSE registration Card
   (Compulsory)

3. All the participating school must attach the proof of payment of       Annual Sports Fee
   (Rs.10000/-) 2014-15

4. Hard copies of online Entry participation Performa, unique ID Number Performa, along with
   identity Cards as per CBSE new guidelines duly attested by school principal.

5. No By Hand Entry Will be accepted.Only CBSE ONLINE Entries will be accepted.

6. All the participating schools must keep the original documents (CBSE Registration Cards, Class
   X Mark sheet of previous year etc.) with them for verification.

                                    Rules &Regulation
1.     The Championship will be played under the rules and regulation as adopted by Archery
       Federation of India /CBSE.
2.     The competition will be held for-
       (a) Team Championship
       (b) Individual Championship
       (c) Mixed Team Championship.
3.     All the players should be within the particular age group as per described by CBSE.
4.     Protest of any nature should be reach the organizing Secretary and CBSE Observer in writing
       within half an hour of the declaration of the result. It should be accompanied by a fee of Rs.
       1000/- (Non -refundable).
5.     We request you to inform us in detail regarding your arrival plans in advance so that pick up
       arrangements from the Railway Station /Bus Stand can be made.
6.     Opening ceremony will held on 29th April-2015 at 3:00 pm.
7.     All the participating teams should carry their ONE SCHOOL FLAG and other necessary
       Archery kit, documents etc. as per the norms of the CBSE.
8.     The march past is compulsory for all the participating teams. They should be in their complete
       sports kit for the march past.
9.     Merit Certificate will be awarded to the winning teams i.e. First Three Positions in both the
       sections. Participation certificate will be issued only to the teams actually participating but no to
       the absentees.
10.    The decision of the referees is final and abiding.
11.    If a school , after sending its entry, wishes to with draw from championship (after the fixture has
       been drawn) shall, give written request of its intention to do so at least seven days before the
       commencement of the tournament to the Organizing Secretary .
12.   School withdrawing without information /requesting the organizing school, will be penalized
      with a penalty of Rs.1000/-.
13.   All the supporting papers verifying the age of the player etc. In original, as per the CBSE
      guidelines and rules shall be carried personally by the team Manager/Coach while reporting for
      participation.
14.   All the player’s right to participate forfeits if fails to produce the papers supporting the eligibility
      in original on demand.
15.   Any non designated person accompanying the team or otherwise will not be entertained for
      accompanying the participants.
16.   The organizing school (Rajendra’s Academy) does not accept any entry without the proof of
      payment of Rs.10000/- Annual Sports Fees 2014-15. For Gulf Countries as per CBSE Norms.
17.   Players must report at least 20 minutes in Advance in proper kit for the match.
18.   Players must be prepared to pay more than one performance in a day.
19.   The host school will ensure the best possible comforts and facilities to the participants to the
      best of its abilities and to the supporting system. However, the participants are expected to co-
      operate with the host for any untoward and unexpected happening beyond its capabilities.
20.   You are advised to go through the CBSE RULES AND REGULATION2014-15 and
      amendments 2014 that govern this tournament very carefully to avoid sort of ambiguity.
21.   Team members are not allowed to walk around the school and in the school campus.
22.   Use of Alcoholic drinks , smoking and eating pouches is strictly prohibited
23.   Outsiders are not allowed to come in the school campus.
24.   The players will have to stay with the Team and parents are not allowed to stay with the
      players.
25.   The school will not be responsible for any loops illness or accident which may occur during
      tournament.
26.   The competition will be held for “Team championship”.
27.   A separate individual championship too will also held. Each team shall nominate one player
      who shall participate in individual championship.
28.   All members of the Team shall wear same color sports uniform.
29.   INJURY: In case of injury during the competition, the Archer or his/her coach will decide
      whether to continue the event or not. There will be no Re-Archery and the event will be scored
      on the basis of shown performance.
30.   Brocken BOW : If a BOW breaks , a repeat attempt is permitted after a suitable rest period of
      at least 10 minutes .However , A team or Archer may only have a maximum of two attempts at
      the same event. The last event determines the Score.

Location of Moradabad
It is situated in Western part of Uttar Pradesh and 165 kms ahead from capital of India, New Delhi. It
is well connected by roads and railways. It is also called as Brass City because of its world famous
brass wares.

Touring places neighbouring to Moradabad
NAINITAL – It is a beautiful hill station and 140 kms ahead from Moradabad. It is a beautiful part of
Uttrakhand and its famous places are-Bhimtal, Naina Devi Temple, Tibbet Market, and Naini Lake etc.

AGRA - It is about 230 kms ahead from Moradabad via Aligarh. Agra is a historical city and once it was
capital of India at the time of Akbar, the great. It is famous all over the world for Taj Mahal, Red fort and
Temple of Dayal Bagh etc.

JIM CORBETT NATIONAL PARK- It is about 90 kms away from Moradabad and it is famous for its wild
animals and natural beauties.

MATHURA and BRANDAVAN - It is about 250 kms away from MORADABAD and it is called the
Birth Place of Lord Krishna, ISCON Temple and other religious spots concerning Radha Krishna.

HARIDWAR- It is 165 kms far from Moradabad and it is called the city of Devas and river Ganga flows at
Harki Pauri. Its other beautiful places are Mansa Devi Temple, Unit of BHEL at Jwalapur.

DEHRADUN - It is capital of Uttrakhand as far as central place of Education with the syllabus of ICSE and
CBSE.

MUSSOORIE- It is another beautiful hill station of Uttrakhand and famous for boarding schools
