Celebrate Christmas
at the Abbey!
Christmas at Missenden Abbey is an enchanting time; from the glistening
Christmas tree as you enter the Abbey, to the abundance of decorations,
seasonal food and entertainment. Choosing to celebrate with us will ensure
your festive season gets off to a great start!
We have a host of seasonal events, including our Christmas Craft Market,
Festive Afternoon Tea, Christmas lunches and our prestigious Christmas party
nights.
It’s never too early to start planning; to secure your date please contact

Christmas Party Nights
Bring your Christmas party to the Abbey and enjoy an evening of delicious
food, festive fun and entertainment.
Start the evening with a glass of sparkling wine at 7.30pm before heading
into the festive dining rooms or magical marquee for a 3 course dinner.
After dinner our DJ will have you up on the dance floor dancing the night
away to all the latest hits and festive favourites. All of which is included in
the price. Carriages at midnight.

Sunday - Wednesday: £32.00
Christmas Menu Thursday - Saturday: £38.00
Starter
Roasted tomato and red pepper soup Classic smoked trout nicoise salad
with halloumi croutons (gluten free on request)

Main
Roasted turkey served with stuffing, Pan fried seabass with blackberry
pigs in blankets and traditional gravy shallots, crushed new potatoes,
(gluten free on request) and a hollandaise sauce
Christmas pastry box of roasted chestnuts, maple glazed pumpkin and mixed
wild grains on a truffle fricassee of forest mushroom
(ve and gluten free option on request)
Dessert
Christmas pudding Mulled berry syllabub with ginger bread crisp
with brandy cream (v) (v or gluten free option on request)

Christmas in the Carrington
The Carrington Suite is the perfect function area for informal private parties
with a minimum of 40 guests and a maximum of 100. The suite is a blank
canvas for you to be as creatively festive with decorations as you wish, with
access to a fully stocked private bar and lounge area.
Enjoy a drink on arrival, our festive finger buffet, private bar, DJ and disco,
all for £19.99 per person (minimum numbers apply)

before the Christmas break, our family and friends in the weeks

Stay the
Night
The party ends at midnight, but
you can head over to one of our
57 bedrooms to enjoy a good
night’s rest and wake up to a
hearty full English breakfast for
£55 per room.

Booking Information
Provisional Christmas party reservations can be made and a non-refundable
deposit of £10 per person for lunches or party nights will be required within
7 days of any reservation to confirm your booking. Final numbers and full
payment are also required strictly no later than 28 days prior to your event.
Once final payment has been made, no refunds will be given. For lunches and
party nights in the Abbey, please ask your guests to each choose a starter,
main course and dessert prior to the event and let us know of any special
dietary requirements. For joiner parties, the final table plan will be available
from us 14 days prior to your event.
