One of the many ways in which Citroën C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid stands out is
how simple it is to charge. There are two battery charging methods, plus a
complete ecosystem of practical support services.
Using a 32A Wall Box with the standard 7kW onboard charger and standard
STANDARD SOCKET (8 A)
charging cable, the battery can be fully charged in under 2 hours. With an CHARGING IN SIX HOURS
optional charging cable the car can also be charged in around six hours from a
three-pin domestic socket*. The charging cable is stored in a dedicated space
under the boot floor, with the charging socket on the car found under a flap at
the rear left of the car. The on-car socket includes an LED which shows the
progress of the charge.
Once charged, the electric motor offers a range of 34 miles (on the combined
WLTP cycle)**. Please note that Citroën guarantees the traction battery for eight
years, or 100,000 miles, for 70% of the initial capacity.
Citroën has partnered with Pod Point to provide C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid
customers a straightforward and trustworthy way to order and install a Wall Box
charging point at home. Your Citroën retailer will be able to refer you to Pod
Point who can then assist you with the whole process from survey to installation.

The ë-EAT8 8-speed electric automatic gearbox optimises gear changes, further enhancing
the driving pleasure and smoothness of the experience. When the vehicle is being driven
in electric mode, a blue LED light comes on under the distinctive frameless electrochrome
interior mirror. This is clearly visible from the outside, so other vehicles are aware of the car’s
status in motion.

Citroën C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid has a 12.3 inch screen with a specific hybrid display designed to
display essential information relating to the hybrid technology and its status. This includes
information such as the power indicator and the range available.
The 8 inch touchscreen also shows specific information such as the distribution of energy,
consumption statistics, the deferred battery charging configuration or the “ë-save” function,
which allows a reserve of electrical power (6 miles/12 miles or complete battery) to be saved for
future use, for example when driving in a low emission zone.
