Outsourced CHSO ( Construction Health & Safety Officer)
Our CHSO Appointments carry the legal responsibility to ensure Health and Safety Compliance as far as
reasonably practicable. Upon appointing a Construction Health & Safety Officer an Issue-based Risk
Assessment is to be conducted as this identifies the Control for our Occupational Health & Safety (OHS)
Plan, which will assist in the management of a client's Health & Safety Management System(s).

Outsourced CHSM (Construction Health & Safety Manager)
Our CHSM Appointment carry the legal responsibility to ensure Health and Safety Compliance as far as
managing a crew of Construction Health and Safety Officer(s) reporting to a the CHSM on any given
project with a relative big scope of work. (Usually appointed where a site requires two or more CHSO's

appointed for a project).
Upon appointing a Construction Health & Safety Manager (CHSM) a Baseline Risk Assessment is to be
conducted as this identifies the Control for our Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Plan, which will
assist in the management of a client's Health & Safety Management System(s).
Our appointed CHSM will also generate a Health & Safety Plan according to your Hazards, Risks,

Controls and statuary requirements such as the client's Health & Safety Specifications, Baseline Risk
Assessments and full compliance to statuary requirements.

Outsourced CHSA (Construction Health & Safety Agent)
According to the Construction Regulations it is the duty of the client (the company for whom
construction work is to be performed) to appoint a CHSA for a Construction Work Project where a
Construction Work Permit is required.
(A Department of Employment & Labour inspector will have the final say should a CHSA be
appointed for a specific project depending on the magnitude of the project or the hazards and
risks associated).
Our CHSA will conduct monthly audits and inspections on all appointed CHSO's, Principal
Contractors and Contractors in-line with the requirements set-out in the Construction Regulations
of 2014.

Outsourced OHS Consultant (Occupational Health & Safety Officer / Manager)
Our outsourced Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Officers are perfect for corporate and industrial
clients looking to comply with the Occupational Health & Safety Act, 85 of 1993 and relevant
regulations excluding any Construction Work.
The appointment of a OHS Officer will be to assist a client by putting in place a digital system to
ensure compliance to the Act and Regulations.
These OHS Officers will be responsible to ensure that the employers requirements are identified as per
Section 8 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Responsibilities of a OHS Manager / Consultant
The Safety Officer is responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations.
Developing measures to assure personnel safety.

Participate in planning meetings to identify any health and safety concerns inherent in the operations daily work-plan.
Review the Incident and Audit Action Plan for safety implications.
Investigate accidents that have occurred within incident areas and where applicable to notify COID or Department of Labor.
Ensure preparation and implementation of Site Safety and Health Plan.
Inspects the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment.

Emergency Evacuation Floor Plans
Emergency escape plans are an integral part of a facility’s system of safety signs and plays an
integral role in a building owner’s fire safety management plan. SANS 23601: 2010 establishes design
principles for displayed emergency escape plans that contains information relevant to fire safety,
escape, evacuation and rescue of the facility’s occupants. These plans are intended to be displayed
