Open days can be crucial in helping you decide where – and what – you want to study. Here’s how to get the most out of it. Check your schedule Your schedule includes everything you need to know about today, including what time your talks are taking place and where you need to be.

See pages 10-35 in this guide. If you have any questions just ask a member of staff or a student ambassador. Learn about every aspect of being a student here University is not just about your course. Take time to visit our exhibition area and speak to staff about student support services, fees and financial support, accommodation, admissions, and the wide range of activities you can get involved in outside of your course.

Look around our accommodation If you’re thinking of moving to Sheffield to study here, make sure you take the time to look around an example of our accommodation. We have a range of residences available to look around today – just pop in any time between 9.30am and 4pm. Take a tour of the campus Don’t miss your chance to look around the facilities and spaces you will learn in. It will give you an insight into what it’s like to study on your course. Find out where and when to go on page 11. Find your way around Go to shu.ac.uk/ opendaymaps to get directions on your phone. Or you can easily visit our accommodation today by hopping on and off our free shuttle bus, see pages 38-39.
