Electoral Structure
Northern Grampians Shire Council is an area-based, representative government with a legislative
and electoral mandate to manage local issues and plan for the community's needs.
It a part of local government in Victoria, which is made up of a total 79 councils representing more
than six million people. Seven councillors govern Northern Grampians Shire Council.
Northern Grampians Shire com-
