CV - CATERINA FRANCESCA GUIDI
Short description: Research Fellow at the European University Institute (EUI), I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of
Siena. Expert in analysis and modelling of quali-quantitative data: my research interests are mainly concentrated on the impact of
mobility and migration on European welfare and health systems. I also work on research and data analysis on reception systems
and integration of migrants in Europe. Prior to joining the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies (RSCAS) at EUI in 2013, I
have worked with organization such as UNHCR, the European Commission and other research centres and NGOs on policy research
and analysis in Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Serbia and Spain. I am an activist on human rights, working especially with
migrants and vulnerable people.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES
Feb. 2018- onwards, Research Fellow and Project Coordinator, Global Governance Programme (GGP), RSCAS, EUI - Florence (IT)
Applied research and data analysis: drafting project reports, included H2020, and application of strong analytical skills. GlobalStat
Project Coordinator: coordinating Research Associates, outreach activities and relations with academic and institutional partners
(EC, EP, EPRS, OECD). Creation of infographics video and publications. In particular:
 Co-author of the paper “Exploring the Links Between Enhancing Regular Pathways and Discouraging Irregular Migration” for
     IOM, in the context of the UN Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration;
