Your connection to others is important. If you want to feel your best this season, please consider some of the suggestions below: How to Care for Yourself:
  • Learn to spot loneliness and depression in yourself and others: increased physical pain, edginess or irritability, feeling sad, changes in sleep or weight, loss of energy or enjoyment, increased use of drugs/alcohol
  • Reach out if you see these signs – talk to your doctor or a helping professional
  • Call a friend to say Hello!
  • Write a letter to a family member
  • Invite a neighbor for a cup of tea How to Connect to Others:
  • Call to talk with someone: Senior Loneliness Line 503-200-1633
