           What’s on at Burwain in 2019                                     Club Racing

      There are many ways to enjoy sailing at Burwain
                          168 x club races                                  Race series formats for 2019:

                                                                            The main organised race days continue to be Saturday

                                                                            is also retained for those who just can’t get enough of their

                                             Burwain Sailing Club has always aimed to run dinghy racing in
                                             accordance with the rules as determined by yacht racing governing
                                             bodies ie. The RYA and I.S.A.F.
                                             These well defined rules that are time proven is the best format for race
                                             officers and competitors alike.
                                             The Officer of the Day (OOD) has it in his/her power to produce a set of
                                             races that test the skill of the competitors. This in itself is a source of
                                             both pleasure and learning. It will also improve your ability as a race
                                             competitor. (see page 44 for setting a course).
