                 All judges at this show agree to abide by the following statement: “In assessing dogs,
                  judges must penalise any features or exaggerations which they consider would be
                            detrimental to the soundness, health and well-being of the dog”.
Jurisdiction and responsibilities
The Officers and Committee members of the society holding the licence are deemed responsible for organising and conducting
the show safely and in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the Kennel Club and agree to abide by and adopt any
decision of the Board or any authority to whom the Board may delegate its powers subject to the conditions of Regulation
F17. In so doing those appointed as officers and committee members accept that they are jointly and severally responsible
for the organisation of the show and that this is a binding undertaking (vide Kennel Club General Show Regulations F4 and 5).
The Society will ensure to the best of its ability that the event is run to Covid Safe guidelines. It is your responsibility to ensure you
comply with national and local restrictions including advice given about non-essential travel in and out of locally affected regions
(which must not be ignored) – in the interests of the safety of all participants this may give rise to a short notice refusal of entry at the
society’s discretion. The Kennel Club will respect the society’s exercise of its discretion. If a competitor, or anyone in their household,
has Covid-19 related symptoms or has tested positive for Covid-19 they must isolate in line with Government advice - www.nhs.uk/
conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/self-isolation-and-treatment/when-to-self-isolate-and-what-to-do/

Caravans                      £42.50 for the duration of the Show: please apply with entries.
Car Parking                   FREE – DOG CAR PARK IN YELLOW PARK. Exhibitors are advised
                              to make an early start in order to reach the Showground for judging at
                              9.30 am.
Catalogues                    £3.00 each to be ordered and paid for with entries. All catalogues
                              to be collected by 11.00 am. None available on the day

Hon Veterinary Surgeons       Hon. Veterinary surgeons will be on the Showground 24 hours a day.
Opening Times                 The Show opens at 8.30 am.
Judging                       Commences at 9.30 am.
Passes                        Admission passes will be mailed at the beginning of May.
Receipt of Entries            If a VAT receipt is required please send an SAE.
Rosettes                      Donations for Rosettes will be very welcome. An acknowledgement
                              will be printed in the Catalogue.
                              £3 per Class set or £5 for Special Set (Best of Breed, Reserve Best
                              of Breed & Best Puppy). Please indicate your preference on the entry
                              form.

Passes are issued based on the number of dogs entered as follows:
   1-2 DOG            = 1 Pass + 1 Free Yellow Car Park Pass

The Devon County Show Canine Section presents Rosettes for the following:                   Regulations for the Preparation of Dogs for Exhibition F (B)
                             Best in Show, Reserve Best in Show                              1.   These regulations must be observed when a dog is prepared for exhibition and/or exhibited at any Kennel
