match Test series!
Those who have not travelled with us before can expect the best insight on the cricket and all the finest details
taken care of throughout the trip. If you have travelled with us previously then welcome back and we look forward
to exceeding your expectations!
My wife Lindsay and I will be hosting two tours: The first tour will incorporate the 2nd Test match played at
Newlands in Cape Town, please see attached the itinerary. The second tour will incorporate the 3rd Test match
and a safari, details of which will follow at a later stage.
During the tour you will experience some first-class cricket with myself and other international players, combined
with some excellent accommodation, match hospitality and fabulous excursions.
Day 1: Travelling - Sunday 29th Dec 2019

Day 2: Arrive, Cape Town – Monday 30th Dec 2019
Day Notes
You will land at Cape Town airport where you will be greeted by an Allan Lamb Travel representative, who will
escort you to the coach for the short transfer to The Table Bay Hotel (about 30 minutes) where you will be
spending the next ten nights.
After checking in to the hotel you will have some time to relax before making your way down to the marina area
to explore the bustling shops and restaurants at the V&A Waterfront.
Cape Town is one of the world's most beautiful cities and a top international destination. Large numbers of
tourists’ flock to Cape Town to enjoy this unique city with its fascinating history, interesting culture, natural
beauty, award winning wines and culinary experience. Whether you are a serious tourist or just want to lie on the
beach and enjoy life, Cape Town will satisfy your needs.
The Table Bay Hotel
Set on the historic waterfront, The Table Bay (5-star) Luxury Hotel has been created as a tribute to this world-
famous bay, with its magnificent standards in international service, cuisine and luxury. The hotel was opened
with much fanfare in May 1997 by President Nelson Mandela himself and it’s now a contemporary architectural
treasure with stylish writing desks and expansive windows, overlooking either the harbour or the Atlantic Ocean.
The Table Bay Hotel has a total of 329 fully air-conditioned rooms which include standard rooms, luxury rooms,
superior luxury rooms and suites. Each air-conditioned room comes equipped with a mini-bar, flat-screen
satellite TV and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. The private bathroom includes a bath and shower with free
toiletries. Rooms are turned down at night and serviced twice daily.
Enjoy locally inspired and sourced gourmet meals at the Camissa Brasserie. The Atlantic Grill serves daily
breakfast and high tea is available in the afternoon.
The Camelot Spa offers a number of spa treatments, holistic care, laser therapy, a pool and a gym. There is a
complimentary shuttle service available, to transport guests within a 3.1 miles radius of the hotel.

Relax & Get Ready To ‘See In’ The New Year!
Today will be a day of leisure for you to relax and perhaps do some shopping and your own exploration of Cape
Town. Naturally if there is anything that you would like us to pre-book for you then please do let your consultant
know and they would be delighted to make the arrangements.
This Evening’s New Year’s Eve Party will be on board the luxury catamaran La Mirage yacht where we will set sail
from Cape Town Harbour in the evening and celebrate the New Year onboard. Dinner, drinks and champagne will
be served on board whilst we watch the firework display.

Table Mountain has a very modern cable car which offers fantastic views over the city and also down the
peninsula towards Cape Point. At the top, you can explore the various pathways and breath-taking viewpoints.

DAY 1 – Of the 2nd Test between England and South Africa at Newlands
The Test Match starts today, at the iconic Newlands Cricket Ground. Coach transfers will take you to and from the
ground, where we will be hosting you in one of the exclusive President's Pavilion Suites. Welcome tea, coffee and
pastries served, fruit & snacks, lunch and afternoon tea, as well as a complimentary bar throughout the day are

Day 11: Winery Trip - Wednesday 8th Jan 2020
Day Notes
For the final full day in Cape Town we will be hosting a day at the Waterford Winery in Stellenbosch, hosted by
Kevin Arnold - the wine maker.
A morning departure will see us arrive in the late morning for an exclusive wine tasting of the estate's finest
produce. After enjoying the wine tasting, there will be a traditional Spit Braai where you will enjoy the finest
Karoo Lamb as well as some local delicacies and a selection of the Waterford Wines. All food and drink is included
at the Winery.
We will be heading back to Cape Town mid-afternoon, to give you a final evening to enjoy the fantastic
restaurants and bars of the V&A Waterfront and beyond.
