Visit the Miraflores Locks, where you can see the operation of the Panama Canal from the best
possible place. Visit the Amador Causeway and learn how those 4 islands got connected and take
a look at the Duty Free. Then, walk the Old Town, the Colonial Panama, and enjoy the Esteban
Huertas Promenade, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Theater, the Simón Bolívar Square and
many other tourist attractions of the colonial period. After lunch, visit the ruins of Panama La Vieja,
destroyed by the pirate Henry Morgan.

PANAMA CITY – COLON – PANAMA CITY

Panama Wonders Day Pass:
Transfer to the province of Colon to visit the Panama Canal expansion from the Observatory of the
Clear Water Locks. Then we will board a bus that will take us to live the history of the conquest in
the Fort of San Lorenzo, located at the entrance of the Chagres River in the province of Colón. It
formed the defensive system for the transatlantic trade of the Crown of Spain and constitutes a
magnificent example of the military architecture of the 17th and 18th centuries. Then we will move
to the Meliá Panama Canal hotel to enjoy a delicious lunch and enjoy the hotel facilities. Once
you have lunch you will have the opportunity to enjoy the Eco Cruise and Emberá Community tours.
With the tours we will take a boat to sail for a few minutes and reach the Emberá community: the
Nepono Puru, who will explain how they live, a little of their history, their language, how they make
crafts, ... and we can observe their dances and Hear traditional music. You can also see and buy
handicrafts and get a temporary tattoo. After the tour, we will take a 40min tour of Gatun Lake to

Tour: Aerial Tram and Sloth Sanctuary
Go through a mile long of a humid forest. Ascend 280 feet and end up a hill. From there you will walk
to the observation tower, and for those with some resistance it implies a 100-meter climb along a
slightly inclined ramp. From the observation tower you will have an excellent view of the Canal and
the Chagres River, as well as the areas surrounding Soberanía National Park. Next, visit the exhibits of
flora and fauna, a refuge for native species, which include a sloth sanctuary. Finally, enjoy a delicious
lunch.

North of Costa Rica:
On the way to the north of the country, pass by Sarchi (souvenir zone). After that, the trip will
10 continues through several coffee plantations, sugar cane and ornamental plants. Once arrived to
the village La Fortuna, have lunch in a local restaurant from where you can observe the Arenal
Volcano. After lunch, head to the hot springs, which are located outside the Volcano’s risk area. It
has 10 thermal pools with different temperatures, two bars, spa, restaurant and dressing rooms.

SAN JOSÉ– MANUEL ANTONIO – SAN JOSÉ

Manuel Antonio:
This National Park is considered one of the most beautiful in the country. It is a combination of a
paradise beach of crystal clear water with coral reefs, surrounded by lush vegetation and the natural
captivations of the humid tropical forest. Its beaches are among the best in the country, perfect for
snorkeling and surfing. Along the coastline on the road, you will enjoy beautiful views and will be
crossing plantations of African palm trees and picturesque villages along the Pacific coast. You will
arrive at the port of Quepos a few minutes after arriving at the Manuel Antonio National Park.
Once there we will hike to the park, crossing a stream to access the park, as it is closed to vehicles.

In the park, you can simply enjoy the beach, sunbath or walk through the nature trails, which will
allow you to observe the park’s abundant flora and fauna. You might be able to see several species
of monkeys, iguanas, birds, and perhaps, the three-toe sloth.
