It enables you to edit, schedule and monitor automated runs.

 Job Scheduling mechanism EnterpriseLink introduces an easy- to-use interface for scheduling automated runs. You can set a date and time for job execution, establish the frequency it will run with and select the AXIS version and the computer on which the job will run.  Job monitoring and history You can monitor the status and progress of running jobs, including jobs running on GridLink and review the history of completed jobs and their batch logs right on the AXIS EnterpriseLink dashboard.

AXIS EnterpriseLink Solo is a personal edition of the same software but, unlike its server-based sibling, it is designed to be installed and run on an end-user desktop or a laptop computer. EnterpriseLink Solo allows AXIS users, who, for various reasons, are not connected to corporate AXIS EnterpriseLink servers, to enjoy many of the features that the full version of EnterpriseLink has to offer and be able to work in an environment similar to their centrally controlled corporate EnterpriseLink while they are on-the-go.

AXIS EnterpriseLink Solo will also help during the trial and training phases when new users are exploring the functionality and do not yet have the server- based environment set up. AXIS EnterpriseLink Solo is also a great tool to assist in testing new AXIS EnterpriseLink releases side-by-side with the server version without forcing an upgrade to a corporate installation. As with the server edition of EnterpriseLink there is no extra charge for using EnterpriseLink Solo.  Which features are supported in the AXIS EnterpriseLink Solo edition? Since the Solo edition is intended to be used by one user only you will not find those AXIS EnterpriseLink features that have functionality related to (e.g.) interactions between multiple user groups or the ability to have different roles in the system.

Solo allows simplified deployment of AXIS versions as well as management of local work areas, effectively giving the user access to most configuration tools in the application. Below is a table showing a comparison of major features between full server and Solo editions of AXIS EnterpriseLink:

AXIS EnterpriseLink Solo edition will work on Windows 7 or 8.1 workstation and will use the SQL Server 2012 LocalDB database engine that does not require any separate server installation or administration. It will also require .NET Framework 4.5 to operate. Please note that .NET Framework 4.5.1 can coexist with .NET Framework 3.51 on the same computer. You will still need .NET Framework 3.51 for AXIS versions released prior to February 2015.  How do I install AXIS EnterpriseLink Solo?

All pre-requisite software is bundled with the AXIS EnterpriseLink Solo installation package and installs automatically during the setup or upgrade process.

The setup takes just a few minutes and Solo is ready to go. If you already have an AXIS license activated via a User-based software key the new software will activate it automatically when it starts for the first time (you need to be connected to Internet for that). The next step is to deploy one or multiple AXIS versions in your AXIS EnterpriseLink Solo by downloading them from the GGY web site and using an automated install AXIS feature on the Solo dashboard. Click here for detailed instructions available through the EnterpriseLink technical support site.  Can I install multiple copies of AXIS EnterpriseLink Solo on the same computer to test various configurations or EnterpriseLink versions side-by- side?

Yes, multiple copies of AXIS EnterpriseLink Solo can co-exist on the same computer.  Who do I contact to find out more about AXIS EnterpriseLink Solo? Please contact Marina Mirzoyan (Marina.Mirzoyan@ggy.com) or Michael Pomerantz (Michael.Pomerantz@ggy.com) at GGY.
