EYFS staggered start ends. Wednesday 11th September Parent Information Evening for Y1, Y2, Y3,Yr 4 and Yr 5 ONLY : 5.30pm-6.30pm As above Wednesday 11th September Reception starts full time.

Thursday 12th September Year 5 – Transition to Secondary Schools – Meet the parents 5pm Friday 13th September Fantastic Friday Reading begins.

You are invited into school every week at the beginning of the school day, to read with your children and share their learning and progress. PTCA Uniform sale and coffee morning Everyone is welcome to come after Fantastic Friday in the hall for a drink, biscuit and a friendly chat amongst parents. Deadline for Prefects Application to be returned. Monday 16th September Prefects interviews to start and to be carried all week. Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th September Reception Parent Information Evening – Reception Only This will be an informal session for parents and carers to find out about their child’s year group and expectations for the year ahead.

Wednesday 25th September Year 3 Swimming Lessons start at Archway Pool every Wednesday afternoons. Please make sure that your child bring their swimming costume and swimming hats. We are hoping for them to continue during the Spring term but we haven’t yet confirmed the days and times with the pool. Monday 14th October Parents Evening 3.45– 6pm Sign-up sheets will be available in the office on 1st October - A fantastic chance for you to speak to your child’s teacher and discuss their learning and progress during their first term. You will be able to celebrate your child’s learning, look through their learning journeys and familiarise yourself with their targets for next term. Please book your place with the office. Friday 8th November Year 1 Trip to see Stickman in Theatre On this day, Year 1 will travel to the theatre to see Stickman. Please ensure you give permission for your child to attend on SchoolsBuddy with a small contribution. Please also ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather as they will be walking to get transport.

Tuesday 12th November Odd Socks Day On this day, children will still be wearing their uniform, but can wear the wildest odd socks they want. This is to raise awareness to bullying and the fact that all individuals are unique and different in their own ways. Pleas can children come in with a £1 contribution which will be donated to the Anti-Bullying Alliance. Friday 15th November World Diabetes Day Children to wear a superhero costume all day and cakes will be on sale from 3.30 – 4pm Flu Immunisation – 9.00 – 12pm No Fantastic Friday Reading due to flu immunisation day. Monday 18th November School PhotographsOur school photographer from Pret A Portrait will be in to take individuals and siblings photos - Can we ask for all children to come in with the correct uniform and looking all smart and fabulous! Road Safety Week to start Children in Year 5 will learn the importance of road safety and we will raise their awareness to dangers on roads and all the steps they can take to be safer.

Thursday 21st November Prospective Parents Information Evening This will be a fantastic opportunity for Parents to see what the school offers and have any questions they may have, answered. A tour will not be provided on this day.

Reception Nativity On this day both reception classes will be performing their nativity. They are working very hard. Please ensure your child learns their lines and are prepared. If you would like to come, tickets will be available closer to this date so please keep a look out so you don’t miss it. Monday 9th December until Friday 13th December Art and Creativity Week Miss Sue and Miss Maddie, our incredible Creative directors, will organise a week packed full of fun and art activities so that our children can express their artistic side and create Festive decorations, treats and gifts which they will sell at their nativity or Winter Concert events.

Children will be off timetable every afternoon of this week.

Thursday 19th December Last day of the Autumn term: Finish for School holidays at 2pm – non uniform day and all class parties. No After School Clubs on this day Children can bring in their favourite board game or toys (no video games) to share with others during their class party. If parents want to bring some healthy food and drinks donations, it will be appreciated.
