skylights and arched windows, all contributing
to the sense of light and space. Double doors
open the room out to the gardens and being
split-level, provides separate areas for relaxation

The Cotswold Stone tiled floor extends through to
the vaulted hallway. Located on the first floor is
the master bedroom featuring a vaulted beamed
ceiling and a bay window that takes advantage
of the pleasant outlook over the garden, and an
en suite Villeroy and Boch bathroom. Two further
bedrooms boast vaulted ceilings and there is
a fourth bedroom, presently being used as a
dressing room. A family bathroom completes the
accommodation on this floor.

In addition to the main house, there is ancillary
accommodation in the form of a detached
annexe, situated towards the rear of the garden.
The ground floor accommodation comprises a
spacious sitting room, a kitchen/breakfast room
with double doors opening out to a covered
outdoor seating area, and a shower room. The
first floor contains a sizeable bedroom with a
vaulted ceiling and plenty of storage space.

Outside
Flagpole House is approached via electrically
operated gates, opening onto a shingled
driveway that provides ample space for parking.
The classical formal gardens are undoubtedly
a key feature of the property and extend around
the side and rear of the house. They have
been skilfully created and planted to create
immense visual impact, with shaped areas
of lawn, water features, meticulously clipped
box hedging, ornamental trees, topiary and
beautifully stocked flower beds. The gardens
are maintained by a comprehensive irrigation
system and outbuildings include a greenhouse,
a garden shed and a utility shed.
