                       WORLD’S SMALLEST RODEO
                DACOTAH STAMPEDE STICK HORSE RODEO
        DATE: Tuesday, August 17th, 2021
REGISTRATION: 2:30 p.m.
       TIME:  3:00 p.m.
   AGE LIMIT: Ages 3-8
   LOCATION:  NVC Tent
   TO ENTER:  Sign-up at the Hitch’N Post Western Store. There
              is no charge to enter. Contestants will receive a
              participation bandana and can pick up a Dacotah
              Stampede Wild Stick Horse (taming the stick horse
              is the responsibility of the contestant) at the Hitch’N
              Post. Contestants have the option of using their own
              stick horses
       RULES: The contestants may compete in up to three events.
              Stick Horse Parade: Contestants will parade their Stick Horse around the ring after participating in
              each event. Cowboy and Cowgirl attire is highly recommended. Prizes for winners in each event will
              be presented by Hitch’N Post.
              1. Pole Bending: Contestants will ride their Stick Horse in and out of a line of poles, circling the last
                   pole and weaving in and out of the poles back to the start/finish line.
              2. Barrel Race: Contestants will ride a traditional clover leaf barrel pattern around three barrels.
              3. Rodeo Clown Contest: Contestants will dress up and compete for best rodeo clown
                   impersonation.
                                 Every contestant receives a bandana for awards!
                     Parents and grandparents earn bragging rights. Flash photos are allowed.
                                         Decisions made by judges are final.

 The Brown County Fair Board has enacted a NO PETS

 policy in the core area of the fairgrounds. Pets are
 not allowed in the buildings, barns, or in the areas
 where commercial vendors such as concessionaires,
 machinery or the carnival are set up. Pets are also not
 allowed in the grandstand.

 Pets are allowed in the campgrounds and parking lots,

                                                                          In 2021, the Brown County Fair will put out 3 cubes, 2

                                                                          Kids can find the cube just for them in the Home Arts

Rules:
1. Contestant must be between the age of 16 and 100.
2. Male, Female and Team Divisions. Teams: each contestant on a team must compete in all events. Top 2-3 scores from teams
    will be recorded for a shot at the Team Trophy. Individual team members will be eligible for Male/Female prizes.
3. No entry fee.
4. Judges decisions are final. No protest will be allowed.
5. In case of a tie in overall points, the contestant with the most event wins, will win. If the score is still tied, there will be a coin
    toss to decide the winner.
6. Four events will be available for participants - Wheel Barrow Race, Steel Post Driving, Bale Throw and Water Bucket Race.
    Points will be awarded for each placing in each event. Prizes will be awarded to the winner of event and for 1st, 2nd and 3rd
    place overall winners

1st Place in Crawling Contest: A trophy and a gift basket.
1st Place in Decorating Contest: A trophy and a gift basket.

Age Groups: 5-9 Months and 10-13 Months

Rules: Babies will line up at the start line and at the signal, may be encouraged to crawl to the finish line. You will NOT be
allowed to walk beside the contestant. Cheering and enticement are strongly encouraged. Only TWO adults will be allowed at
the mat with each baby, one at the starting line, and one at the finish line. ONLY BABIES ARE ALLOWED ON THE MAT!
        Babies CANNOT be push started over the line. Babies do not have to stay in their lane. If a contestant WALKS at
any time during the race, he or she will be disqualified, but will still be eligible for the cutest diaper contest. We encourage
comfortable “crawling” clothes. You may NOT use cell phones, food or the bottle/drink to entice babies. Use of anything else is
encouraged. The first baby to cross the finish line is the winner. Prizes will be also awarded for the best decorated diaper in each
class.
