T Levels at The Manchester College Industry Excellence Academy From 2021, in our Industry Excellence Academy, we will also be offering Technical Levels (T Levels). T Levels are new two-year technical programmes that will provide you with a high-quality technical alternative to A Levels, combining classroom learning with an extended industry placement. This will last at least 315 hours (approx 45 days), and will enable you to learn the most up to date industry skills. They are equivalent to 3 A Levels and will be graded in a similar way. GETTING STUDY PROGRAMME AWARD To support you financially on your journey to amazing we offer the Study Programme Award (SPA). PARTNERS The College’s Centre of Excellence for Animal Care has fantastic links with a range of organisations that will offer you the opportunity to gain relevant work experience. These partnerships include: “ ” Animal Care at The Manchester College is really enjoyable. You get to learn lots of theory on topics such as biology, which supports all the practical work we do caring for the animals. There were other courses closer to where I live but I chose this one because of its study modules. I originally wanted to work with dogs in particular, but there is such a large mix of animals. I’m loving working with the racoons.
