Visa Requirements
New Zealand offers a visa waiver for stays of up to 3 months for a number
of countries. Your passport must be valid for up to 3 months after the
departure date. A list of visa waiver countries can be found ►here.
Nationals from ALL other countries need to apply for a visitor visa.

found ►here. Please check your travel itinerary prior to departure to see
if you need a transit visa for any other country to get to New Zealand.

Auckland’s International Airport is located 21 km from the city centre
and the following transport facilities will be available to you upon arrival:
Taxis: There are numerous taxi ranks located outside the domestic
and international terminals. A taxi ride to the SKYCITY Grand Hotel will
take approximately 45 minutes (varies dependant on traffic) and costs
approximately NZ$ 75.
By SkyBus: ►SkyBus conveniently operates buses to and from the
airport 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Between 7am and 7pm it departs
every 10 minutes (for departures outside these hours, please refer to
the SkyBus website). Tickets cost NZ$ 18 and can be pre-purchased 45 min driving distance to the SKYCITY Grand
online at ►www.skybus.co.nz, from the SkyBus ticket kiosk or directly Hotel.The fare by taxi is around NZ$ 75
from the driver.
By Super Shuttle: On demand shuttles between the airport and SKYCITY Hotel are NZ$ 35 for one person each way plus
NZ$ 9 for each additional passenger.Tickets can be purchased online at ►www.supershuttle.co.nz.
Selfdrive: If you are travelling by car, take the Southern Motorway north, exit at Nelson Street and follow the signs directly to
SKYCITY. The SKYCITY Grand Hotel offers valet parking for hotel guests and also self-parking for a reduced rate. For rates

Delivery Date
Your materials for the Australia New Zealand Workshop 2018 should
arrive on or after Wednesday, March 28, 2018 in Auckland (but not
before) to allow you sufficient time to check if your packages have arrived
and been delivered correctly.
Package Preparation
When calculating the amount of promotional materials to send to
Auckland, please bear in mind that you will have a maximum of 32
pre-scheduled meetings of 25 minutes each plus other meetings
during breaks or outside workshop hours that may be arranged.

Scheduling Meetings Prior to the Event
Approximately 8 weeks prior to the event you will receive access to the
Marcom eSchedule PRO online meeting scheduling system. Marcom
eSchedule PRO (►www.marcom-education.com) allows you to select
potential partners according to geographical origin, programmes, or date of
inclusion in the system, as well as to send personalised meeting requests.
Please note that the deadline for confirming / requesting meetings is
April 3, 9:00 am Auckland time.
If you are using Marcom eSchedule PRO for the first time, we recommend
to have a look at the ►Getting Started Information as well as ►Scheduling
Meetings – Useful Hints & Tips or have a look at our ►video tutorials.
Scheduling Meetings During the Event
In case your schedule is not full at the close of Marcom eSchedule PRO,
you will still have the possibility to maximise the number of your meetings
through Marcom Onsite, a web-based application that will enable you to
schedule last-minute meetings, message other event participants, view
on-site workshop information and make adjustments to your schedule.
If you prefer not to opt into the last-minute scheduling function of Marcom
Onsite, you may also arrange additional meetings in the morning of each
workshop day (April 5 and 6) between 8:30 and 8:55.
Marcom Onsite complements eSchedule PRO and will open on April 3,
once eSchedule PRO closes. If you are using Marcom Onsite for the

On-site registration will take place on Wednesday, April 4 from 13:00 to 19:00 at
the ICEF hospitality and registration desk in the Auckland Promenade on level
4 of the SKYCITY Auckland Convention Centre. There you will receive your
registration package including your badge, a print-out of your meeting schedule
as well as the workshop catalogues. Participants arriving after the registration
period stated above can register on Thursday, April 5 at the ICEF registration
and hospitality desk situated on the New Zealand Promenade on level 5 from
8:00 onwards.
As the workshop is a protected trading environment, anyone not wearing a
badge may not be admitted. Please also understand that for the same reason
we cannot allow non-registered family, friends or staff to enter the meeting hall.

Meeting Tables
Meeting tables will be accessible as of 8:00 on Thursday, April 5.
Each meeting table (180 x 90 cm) will be covered with a white table
cloth and will have access to an electricity outlet. Table signage
with name and logo of each institution will be provided. Standard
internet access is inclusive.

Exhibitors will be able to access their booths on Wednesday, April 4 between
17:00 and 19:00 and from 7:00 on Thursday, April 5. Standard internet access
is inclusive.
A standard furniture package is provided with all booths, including a trestle
table, 4 chairs, brochure rack, power outlet & fascia signage. Additional
furniture, AV equipment and booth graphics can be ordered. An exhibitor kit
will be available shortly.
Seminars
Recognising the importance of market trends and their impact on student
enrollments, a number of seminars will be held on Wednesday, April 4,
2018, between 13:45 and 19:00.
The seminar programme includes an introductory session on How to
Maximise your ICEF Workshop Experience.

Auckland has a population of over 1.2 million, which is
approaching one third of New Zealand’s entire population.
Its nickname is “City of Sails” due to its waterside location
between the Waitemata and Manukau Harbours. It is
surrounded by rainforest covered hills and many dormant
volcanic cones.
It is New Zealand’s most cosmopolitan city, a melting pot of
European, Asian and South-Pacific cultures with a strong
indigenous Maori heritage
Quick Facts
Time zone: Auckland is 12 hours ahead of GMT.
Temperature: Auckland enjoys a warm coastal climate without extremes of
temperature. It is one of the sunniest spots in the country, with an average of over
2060 sunshine hours. It also has a high rainfall, which ensures the lushness of its
rainforests. Temperatures in April are around 16 °C.
Currency: New Zealand Dollar (NZ$). For current exchange rates please see
►x-rates. Credit cards are widely accepted.
Public transportation: There is a free city bus that operates a small circuit which runs
around central downtown, linking key destinations in Auckland city. The bus runs every
10 minutes from 8:00 to 18:00, seven days a week.
