Leadership Programme for Female
Leaders in the Veterinary Profession
Course Overview
This two-day programme aims to help female joint
venture partners understand their role in driving the
success of their business, so that they can become
exceptional leaders. Leading engaged and motivated
teams, inspiring junior colleagues, serving as brand
ambassadors, locally and nationally, and being role
models within the veterinary profession, are all critical
parts of this journey. The programme has been designed
to support female leaders in bringing the values of their
brand to life for their clinical and non-clinical colleagues.
Objectives
• Learn how to build, develop and lead
high-performing teams
• Know how to delegate effectively
• Know how to support team development, focus and
motivation
• Learn how to use coaching as a development tool
• Understand yourself and how you can become a
powerful female leader
• Learn how to manage your leadership image
within your business, community and the
veterinary profession
• Learn how to handle conflict and challenging
situations effectively
• Drive business performance
• Become advocates for your partnership across the
Group, and throughout the veterinary profession
I learnt more about leadership during this two-day course than I have in eight years of running a
business. I discovered a lot about myself and I came away respecting my own achievements, which
I would never have been able to do before. It was an emotional and enriching two days and I would
highly recommend it. - Leigh-Anne Brown, Veterinary Surgeon and JVP

Consultations
Feel you need some guidance,
advice or even just support?
Our coaches are here to help
you reach your goals
A coach’s job is to facilitate your goals, not push their
ideas on you. They’ll challenge your pre-conceived
notions about what is possible and what you are
capable of. They’ll encourage you to do the things
you want to do, but never thought you could. When
difficult situations arise, your coach will be someone
who you can turn to for guidance, advice, support and
accountability to help you live by your principles. Each
coach does their initial consultation a little differently,
but usually the coach wants to get to know you, gain
an understanding of what you need and find out what
you’re trying to achieve. Use the consultation to ask any
questions that you need to know in order to make a
good decision.
Please contact learning.academy@vets4pets.com for
further details and pricing on our coaches.
