        Soweto is considered the biggest township in South Africa. It has been estimated that 40% of
        Johannesburg's residents live in Soweto. However, the 2008 Census put its population at 1,3
        million. Nelson Mandela lived in Soweto from 1946 until 1961.

   
    Hector Pieterson Museum

     The Hector Pieterson Museum, situated in Soweto, commemorate the role of the country’s
     students in the struggle against apartheid. The commemorative site is just a few blocks from
     where 12-year-old Hector Pieterson was shot in 1976.

    Gold Reef City Theme Park

     Gold Reef City is a large amusement park in Johannesburg. There are many attractions at
     Gold Reef City like water rides and roller coasters. Adrenaline junkies will enjoy the thrill rides
     such as Anaconda or Jozi Express but there are also plenty of rides for those a little less brave!

Cullinan Mine/Pretoria Full Day

    South Africa’s Union Buildings, the official seat of the national government, house the offices of
    the president and are located in Tshwane. Though not in the center of Pretoria the Union

    site.

   Paul Kruger House

    The Kruger house was built in 1884. Paul Kruger took a leading role in the Transvaal War
    against Britain in 1889-1881. At the age of 57 Kruger was elected President of the Zuid-
    Afrikaansche Republiek (ZAR) and took up residence at Kruger House in Pretoria.

   Voortrekker Monument

    The majestic Voortrekker Monument is situated in the Pretoria (Tshwane) region in a nature
    reserve. It is a unique Monument which commemorates the Pioneer history of Southern Africa
    and the history of the Afrikaner and is situated in a beautiful setting.

   Cullinan Mine Surface Walk

    The Cullinan/Premier Diamond Mine is situated 40km east of Pretoria in the town of Cullinan.
    This tour covers the history of the mine, mining methods and the geological processes of that
    are responsible for the creation of diamonds

   Pretoria city - the administrative capital of South Africa is known as the “Jacaranda City”
mainly for its tree-lined avenues and fascinating architecture. Visit historical monuments such
as the Paul Kruger House and Voortrekker Monument and not forgetting the Union Buildings.
              The city is regarded as the original home of the Afrikaans people.
The Union Buildings, seat of executive government and symbol of the new South Africa. And
the Voortrekker Monument, rising like a sentinel in the south of Pretoria, this monument is an
             essential piece of the puzzle in understanding the Afrikaner people.
The friezes explain their entire history from
the Great Trek up to the Battle of Blood River and the forming of the Boer Republics. If you
 are visiting in October, you'll experience the best of all purple Jacarandas in bloom along
                                       most of the cities streets.

Ukutula Lion Park Half Day

In Gandhi’s Footsteps Half Day

                                        TOUR DESCRIPTION

       Gandhi arrived in 1893 to work as a legal representative for the Indian immigrants; he
   became a leader of the struggle against segregation before leaving for India to fulfill his
destiny. This journey truly gives you an insight into the philosophy of Gandhi and the legacy of
                                        his life in Johannesburg.

                                             HIGHLIGHTS

        Hamid Mosque

         This is a mosque build for the Johannesburg muslims from Sultan Abdulhamid II. He served as
         the Imam of Quwatul Islam Masjid in Rander and was well renowned for his beautiful recitation
         of the Quran-e-Kareem.

        Indian Crematorium

         Gandhi played a role in the building of the first Hindu crematorium in Johannesburg, and the
         first in Africa. In 1908 Gandhi was approached to help find a suitable plot for a
         crematorium.Finally, after Gandhi had left the country, the wood-burning crematorium was built
         in 1918, and it still stands, although a brick gas-fired crematorium was built in 1956, which is
         still used.

        Gandhi’s House

         This house was from 1908 to 1909, the home of Mohandas Gandhi. Within these walls, the
         future Mahatma has developed his philosophy of passive resistance: Satyagraha in Sanskrit.
         The house was built in 1907, by a close friend and companion of Gandhi, the German architect
         Hermann Kallenbach and now brought back to life.

        The Troyville House

         Bed and Breakfast Hotel and its restaurant is known as one of the best places to eat in
         Johannesburg.
   Satyagraha Guest House

    One hundred years ago, Mohandas Gandhi lived in this house in Johannesburg. Today, the
    Satyagraha House is both a museum and a guest house. A unique way to immerse yourself in
    the privacy of a man and the history of a country. The name comes from his philosophy of
    passive resistance: Satyagraha in Sanskrit.

   Africa Museum

    Museum Africa is an historical museum in Johannesburg and was established in 1933. It is
    housed in the city's former fruit and vegetable market in Newtown. The museum has
    collections of African material culture from across the continent. It also houses The Geology
    Museum and the Bensusan Museum of Photography.
