The new Land Cruiser further enhances its
reputation with more modern and robust exterior
styling. Every line serves a clear purpose: starting
with the bonnet which has been shaped to
improve downward visibility at the centre; the
headlamps and grille cooling openings positioned
higher to maximise both protection and wading
depth; while high-gloss painted 19" alloy wheels
create a more dynamic profile. The rear now
includes a redesigned lamp cluster with
an LED stop light.

COMFORT
1.
The Land Cruiser’s unique mix of functionality,
craftsmanship and attention to detail ensures the
most rewarding journey on any route. On-board
comfort has been enhanced through the adoption
of front seat ventilation, a rear passenger
adjustable ventilation system, three-zone
automatic air conditioning, an electrically heated
windshield with heated washer nozzles,
and reverse-tilting door mirrors.
1. CENTRE CONSOLE
The centre console features the large, Toyota Touch® 2
with Go multimedia system, and more ergonomic,
functionally grouped switches that are separated into
specific zones. The drivetrain-, driving- and comfort-
related switchgear are easy to use in all on- and
off-road conditions.

The rear passengers can adjust the temperature to
their individual needs to experience optimal comfort

1.
The new Land Cruiser’s high levels of on-board
technology hallmark it as a premium 4x4. The top
of the new centre console tower has been lowered
for a more sleek appearance and improved front
visibility when driving off-road. It incorporates
a new, 8" multimedia screen which displays
multiple images from cameras positioned around
the vehicle. Off-road controls including a
Multi-Terrain Monitor (MTM) with Under-Vehicle
Terrain View and Multi-Terrain Select (MTS)
in combination with Crawl Control help
you tame the wildest territory.

1. DRIVE MODE SELECT SYSTEM
Once you select the mode to suit your driving style
and/or the conditions, the system will automatically
control engine, transmission, Electric Power Steering's
(EPS), Variable Flow Control (VFC), Adaptive Variable
Suspension (AVS) and air conditioning to maximise
either the vehicle’s environmental efficiency or its
dynamic abilities.
2. TFT SCREEN WITH TYRE PRESSURE
MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS)
The 4.2" TFT multi-information screen in the combi-
metre provides drivers with comprehensive vehicle and
infotainment data including safety features such as TPMS.
TPMS allows you to keep a check on the pressure of each
individual tyre (including a full size spare tyre) via the
display. Should the pressure be too low, a warning
symbol lights up.

AUTOMATIC HIGH BEAM
Toyota Safety Sense's Automatic High Beam is designed to
optimise visibility during night driving for all road users. A
camera detects the lights of oncoming vehicles and leading
traffic whilst also monitoring the brightness of streetlights.
It switches automatically between high and low beam for
safer night-time driving.
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
Toyota Safety Sense’s Adaptive Cruise Control keeps a
minimum preset distance from the vehicle in front. If this
distance falls, the system reduces the speed. If the distance
increases again, it will gradually accelerate until the vehicle
returns to your chosen cruising speed.
LANE DEPARTURE ALERT
Using a camera to detect the lane markings in the road
ahead, Toyota Safety Sense's Lane Departure Alert will give
the driver audible and visual warnings if the vehicle starts
to deviate from its lane without the turn indicator being
applied – the driver can then take corrective action.

The Land Cruiser is fitted with Toyota Safety
Sense*, a set of active safety technologies
designed to help prevent or mitigate collisions
across a wide range of traffic situations. It
includes a Pre-Collision System (PCS)§ with
Pedestrian Detection, Adaptive Cruise Control
(ACC), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), Automatic
High Beam (AHB) and Road Sign Assist (RSA).
Further safety technologies include a Blind
Spot Monitor (BSM) with Rear Cross
Traffic Alert (RCTA).
ROAD SIGN ASSIST
Toyota Safety Sense's Road Sign Assist monitors the
road signs ahead, displaying useful information such as
the current speed limit or overtaking restrictions in clear
view on the new colour TFT cockpit display. The system
also provides a visual and acoustic warning if you are not
following the road sign indication.
PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM WITH PEDESTRIAN DETECTION
Toyota Safety Sense’s Pre-Collision System§ with Pedestrian
Detection combines a millimetre-wave radar with a camera
to detect other vehicles in the road ahead. When the
possibility of collision is detected the driver is alerted with
audio and visual warnings and brake assistance is activated.
If the driver fails to brake in time the brakes automatically
engage to prevent or mitigate a collision. In addition to
vehicle detection, early detection of pedestrians is also
made possible.
