In-Wall / In-Ceiling Speakers
The high-quality in-wall / in-ceiling speakers of the DE series have been developed for natural, powerful sound repro-
duction and high intelligibility. They display an outstanding performance / size ratio and are characterized by a very
wide frequency range with a high power rating. The round and square models of the DE series have retaining springs
made of high-grade steel for straightforward snap-in assembly and crossovers in separate boxes for maximum flexi-
bility when installing. The bigger, rectangular models are equipped with screwable clamps and internal crossovers.
Our DE speakers can be quickly and safely mounted in hollow wall and ceiling constructions. To reduce sound trans-
mission to adjacent rooms we recommend our back boxes of the EG series. When mounting in acoustic ceilings,
partially open ceilings and furniture back boxes should be used as well. For integration into concrete ceilings and
solid walls use our back boxes of the EGB series.
Polar® Speakers
Uncompromising two-way speakers with patented Polar® technology for extremely broad
and even sound dispersion (180°). With Polar speakers it is possible to homogenously fill
rooms with sound employing considerably fewer systems and greater speaker distances.

The models DE 200 CD and DE 300 CDR are high-performance two-way in-wall speakers
with a defined dispersion angle of 80°. They are employed as front speakers (L, R, center)
for home-audio systems and media rooms. A tweeter with waveguide ensures controlled
sound radiation with CD characteristics (Constant Directivity).

Trimless In-Wall / In-Ceiling Speakers
Our trimless in-wall / in-ceiling speakers of the DE-X series are high-end speakers for flush mounting in ceilings
and walls which, on account of their elegant appearance, are predestined for architecturally sophisticated rooms.
Thanks to their unique performance / size ratio they enable the implementation of sound concepts at the highest
level with minimum intrusions into the room architecture. After installation only the flush-mounted front grilles
are visible.
Our DE-X speakers can be quickly and safely mounted in hollow wall and ceiling constructions. To reduce sound
transmission to adjacent rooms we recommend our back boxes of the EG-X series. When mounting in acoustic
ceilings, partially open ceilings and furniture back boxes should be used as well. For integration into concrete ceilings

11Invisible Speakers
The patented planar transducers of the DE Plan® series for invisible mounting in ceilings and walls combine cone
woofers, high-grade exciters in the high-frequency range and de:shape® membranes with optimized outlines (pa-
tent pending) to offer unprecedented precision in sound reproduction. Once mounted, the speakers are covered
with the supplied glass fiber lining, then plastered and painted. This allows the high-quality speaker systems to be
invisibly integrated in ceilings and walls.
DE Plan transducers have a dispersion angle of 180°. This broad omnidirectional behavior
enables rooms to be evenly filled with sound using just a few systems. The speakers can
be installed in ceilings as well as in walls.

13DE Plan inside for Furniture Build-In
The special built-in versions of the DE Plan inside® series can be installed in furniture and wall panels. The speakers
are back-mounted onto the front of furniture or panels made of wood, MDF or similar materials and directly resonate
through these surfaces. As the radiating surface is driven without an intermediary membrane, DE Plan inside
speakers achieve high efficiency and a wide linear frequency range. These speakers should be adapted to different
built-in materials and room acoustics using our system controllers or DSP amplifiers.

The DE Plan 600 AlArray ® planar transducer is a 4-channel line array designed for use with our multi-channel
DSP amplifiers. Each of the individual channels is designed as a two-way system with a 4“ woofer and two high-
frequency drivers . For large rooms with longer reverberation times, multiple modules can be combined to create
longer line arrays with a correspondingly longer throw and better directivity.

Multi-Channel DSP Power Amplifiers for Controlling DE Plan 600 AlArray Modules
Our PA Series of multi-channel DSP amplifiers is designed to control our DE Plan 600 AlArray modules. Four
amplifier channels are required for each speaker module. Beam direction, beam width and sound can be set for
a room’s individual acoustics using DSC Control software with parametric filters and delays. We provide project-
specific presets on request.
If two or more DE Plan 600 AlArray modules are combined into longer in-wall line arrays, the speaker channels
can be grouped into pairs to reduce the number of amplifier channels needed. One PA 8100 DSC power amplifier,
for example, can be used to control two line arrays each comprising two DE Plan 600 AlArray modules.

The various models of the installation series are multi-purpose speakers for high quality audio systems for home-
audio, media spaces, gastronomy and presentation rooms. They cover various installation demands and can be
easily combined with our in-wall / in-ceiling speakers.
Our new two-way on-wall and cylinder speakers with Polar® technology have an excep-
160° tionally broad and consistent dispersion angle. The new cabinet design with passive

The RL 180 NT EVAC is a two-way speaker certified in line with EN 54-24. It is designed
to be suspended from ceilings in rooms with long reverberation times. The proven
Polar ® technology produces a consistently wide dispersion angle at medium and high
frequencies. The cardioid pattern effectively suppresses disruptive sound reflections from
the ceiling by minimizing the amount of sound emitted backwards at low frequencies.
As such, a small number of RL 180 NT EVAC speakers can be used to transmit speech
very evenly and clearly, even in acoustically challenging rooms.

Our four- to eight-channel line arrays with AlArray® technology are controlled using our PA series of multi-chan-
nel DSP power amplifiers and can also be combined to create longer arrays. Dispersion direction, beam width and
sound can be set for a room’s individual acoustics using DSC Control software with parametric filters and delays.

Active DSP controlled line arrays with adjustable vertical directivity and long throw to ensure even acoustic
irradiation across large rooms. Featuring long excursion full-range drivers with neodymium motor, the line arrays
have an exceptionally wide frequency range and are ideal for both speech and music reproduction. The sound dis-
persion characteristic, depending on the room situation, can be set using our DSC Control software. We provide
project-specific presets on request.
