T hank you for considering Island House Hotel on historic Mackinac Island for your
upcoming special event. We are the third generation of our family to own and operate
Island House Hotel. Since saving the hotel from demolition in 1969, we have consciously
labored to preserve the historic charm of this iconic estate. We are proud to be Mackinac
Island’s oldest operating hotel and honored to be a State of Michigan landmark, as well
as one of few Michigan members of the Historic Hotels of America. A unique little-known
fact about the Island House Hotel is that we are the only hotel on Mackinac Island State
Historic Parks land with a portion of your hotel fee funding park preservation and projects.
Island House Hotel has accommodated many noteworthy events since it opened
in 1852. We are honored that your important event will soon become a part of
that history. We would be thrilled to host your special day and assure you that
we will do everything we can to make your event positively memorable.

Hands down perfection! The staff at Island House Hotel made us feel

and welcoming! Our ceremony was on the front garden terrace
on a Sunday afternoon in June. Nothing could have made the
