Directions: St Rte 81, 4 miles east of I75(exit127) to Thayer Rd, then north
1 mile to stop sign, then right. ½ mile. Guests welcome anytime.
A quaint 200 tap maple operation all gathered with buckets. We grade and bottle
all of our maple syrup right off of the evaporator. Taste the sap directly from the
tree, then sample the grades of maple syrup fresh off the evaporator.

We are a backyard operation using wood fired evaporator with 400 taps.
Take a walk through our scenic woods to see how the sap is gathered and

addition to, our maple syrup we will have maple sugar, maple flavored popcorn,

4th generation producing maple syrup on our family farm in Auburn. We are “old

Hot Maple Syrup Fruit
1cup Pure Ohio Maple Syrup
1TBSP Butter
½ tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Vanilla
Your choice~ 3 to 4 sliced apples, 3 to 4 sliced bananas, 3 to 4 sliced
peaches, or a combo of your favorite fruits
In a sauce pan, combine all the above ingredients except for the fruit. Bring it
to a boil, reduce heat & let simmer for 5 minutes. Add your fruit, let fruit sim-
mer in sauce for 10 minutes, stirring often. This is fantastic in the bottom of a
bowl with vanilla ice cream on top. Also good by itself, or atop a slice of Angel
Food or Bunt Cake.cream and sprinkle toasted nuts on top.

Maple BBQ Beans
1 can Pork & Beans
1 can Light Kidney Beans, rinsed, drained
1 can Dark Kidney Beans, rinsed, drained
1 can Black Beans, rinsed, drained
1/2# cooked, chopped bacon or ham
1 large chopped green bell pepper
1 large chopped onion
1/2 C Pure Ohio Maple Syrup
1 C BBQ Sauce - any BBQ Sauce
2 to 3 cloves garlic, chopped
for a little heat, add some chopped jalapenos
Combine all of the above ingredients in a large crock-pot. Cook on low for 8
hours. This is a great recipe! A whole meal done in the crock-pot. Some easy
variations ~ you can use most kinds of meat for this. It’s great to make using
all your leftovers from the week. You can also add potatoes. Serve this along
with warm cornbread, topped with butter & Pure Maple Syrup

2/3 cup white sugar 1/4 cup pure Ohio maple syrup
2 Tbsp shortening 1/2 cup sour milk
1 egg beaten 1 tsp ginger
1 tbs soda 1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt 1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup molasses
Mix ingredients in order as given, beat well, & bake @ 350°F for 35-40 minutes.
Serve with vanilla ice cream & pure maple syrup poured over it.
Maple Apple Pie
Prepared double crust for 9” pie
5 cups fresh picked apples, peeled and sliced
3/4 cup Pure Ohio Maple Syrup
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
Maple granulated sugar (optional but really adds to the pie)

PREHEAT oven to 425 F. degrees. Place peeled and sliced apples in pie shell. Mix
remaining ingredients in a bowl, and pour over apples. Place top crust over filling, cut
steam vents, and sprinkle with maple sugar (optional). Bake for 10 minutes, then reduce
oven heat to 350 F. degrees and continue baking 25 to 30 minutes. Yield: 8 delicious
servings. Serve warm with Vanilla Ice Cream...!!!
Maple-Mustard Green Beans
2lbs green beans, ends trimmed 2tsp extra-virgin olive oil
2TBSP coarse-grained Dijon mustard 2TBSP chopped scallions
3TBSP balsamic vinegar Sea salt
1 ½ TBSP Pure Ohio Maple Syrup
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
NOTE ~ choose slender, crisp green beans that are bright and blemish free. Avoid
mature beans with large seeds and swollen pods. Cook the beans in a saucepan, bring
2 quarts of water to a boil over high heat. Add beans and cook uncovered until crisp-ten-
der. (Begin checking after 5 minutes) Drain and place beans in a serving bowl. Prepare
the dressing while beans are cooking, in a small bowl whisk together the mustard,
vinegar, Pure Maple syrup and oil.Pour dressing over hot beans, and mix to coat well,
then sprinkle with scallions. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
