Raju Uppalapati – CEO / Real Estate Team Leader
Raju Uppalapati is a highly successful veteran of the real estate industry with first-hand, real-world experience in
real estate sales, marketing and development, home building and hospitality sectors on the Outer Banks since
1996.

For 16 years, he served as CEO of BD&A Realty and Construction, a premier luxury real estate and construction
company on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. In partnership with BD&A, he has assisted in building over 2,000
luxury homes and developed many prestigious communities throughout Eastern North Carolina. Raju has managed
over 60 sales professionals and sold over 1 billion dollars in real estate. He helped exclusively market prestigious
communities like Pine Island, Buck Island, Monteray Shores, Corolla Bay and many other.

Raju also has a marketing agency that helps real estate, hospitality and tourism industries. Having an in house
marketing company helped to achieve better results for his customers.

In addition to his years of real-world experience, Raju holds an MBA from Wright State University and a Masters in
International Management from the University of Texas.

Raju is very involved in the Outer Banks community and served on many charitable and business associations with
his time and contributions to make the community a better place to live and enjoy.
