ABOUT THE FIESTA Thank you for taking an interest in becoming a part of the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, a true Bristol icon. Now in it’s 41st year the Fiesta has become one of the most iconic and trusted event brands in the region. Around 500,000 people visit the site over its 4 days, come rain or shine, to see balloons from around the world. Over 2,000 balloonists participate and in recent years we have seen appearances from special shapes such as Bertie Bassett, The Michelin Man, Rupert The Bear and for our 40th Birthday last year a giant birthday cake. The weekend consists of a number of events. The true magic of the Fiesta can be seen each morning from 6am as balloons prepare to launch into the skies over the city of Bristol. Thursday sees our “Special shapes” launch at 6pm. On Thursday and Saturday evenings our Nightglow events take place where tethered balloons become light-bulbs in time to music followed by Fireworks. Entry to the festival remains free for members of the public and we are committed to retaining this. There is a strong sense of ownership and pride about the festival from residents throughout the West country. Aligning your brand through sponsorship of the Fiesta will help cement feelings of trust and build loyalty with your existing and future customers. Members are able to book the restaurant (up to 300 people) or exclusive hospitality pods (up to 60 people each) at a
discounted rate and with priority above non-member organisations.
Hospitality pods this year will be flexible, you can book pods together to make a larger space for your group. Each pod comes
with a fenced viewing area at the front next to the launch arena and has access to the restaurant bar.
Pre-booked catering is available. Drinks packages and menus can be downloaded and booked via the website.
