COURSE DESCRIPTION
This one-day course is designed for physicians whose
clinical practices include comprehensive ophthalmology
and adult glaucoma care. Using an interactive, integrated
approach, the distinguished speakers will present a variety of
vignettes and practice pearls to illustrate topics in the surgical
management of glaucoma with special attention to micro-
incisional glaucoma surgery techniques and devices.

The topics will include: Ab-interno placement of gel stent and
mini-shunt, angle based surgeries, trabecular microstent,
and implants utilizing the suprachoroidal space. All topics
will include an overview of mechanism of action, evidence
for effectiveness, and video based presentation of how each
procedure is done.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:
• Evaluate medical evidence methodically by an increased
  familiarity with recent notable publications
• Evaluate the pros and cons of different minimally invasive
  glaucoma procedures
• Appraise when and how to perform various techniques for
  angle based surgery in glaucoma
• Incorporate new intraoperative devices to assist in glaucoma
  surgery
