                                           Presented in collaboration with the Music
                                           Archive of Monash University (MAMU), join us
                                           for a selection of Sunday afternoon concerts
                                           showcasing various musical styles from across
                                           the world. Travelling from Iran to Afghanistan,
                                           India, China, Japan, and Indonesia, each

                                           concert will feature music, dance and cultural
                                           offerings from each country.

                                           MAMU is a physical and digital collection of
                                           musical instruments, scores, field recordings,
                                           puppets and diverse other musical, dance
                                           and theatrical materials acquired since the
                                           foundation of the University’s Department of
                                           Music in 1965. MAMU is a department of the
                                           Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music.

Featuring the classical carnatic vocal music
of South India, a violin ensemble performing
carnatic classical to contemporary music,

of an exhibition of instruments from
India, presented by the Music Archive of
Monash University (MAMU) in the Monash

                                           this concert will will display the myriad of
                                           cultures that make up modern Indonesia.

                                           of the Music and Activism in Indonesia
                                           exhibition presented by the Music Archive of
