SUPER CENTER REMIX
Celebrating our 25th year, Super Center Arts Camp is one of MSCR’s
oldest day camps. Camp looks a little different this summer, and we
have renamed it Super Center REMIX (SCR)! Super Center REMIX
provides campers an opportunity to develop artistic interests
in dance, theater music and visual arts skills in a creative camp
format. Due to health and safety guidelines, campers have an
in-depth experience of two of these fine arts subjects each week.
See the theme descriptions below. In addition to activities in
music, drama, dance and/or visual arts, daily activities also include
games and other traditional camp activities, as well as a mid-day
mindfulness break. Depending on health guidelines other activities
may include swimming, guest performers, field trips and special
camp performances. Registration closes one week prior to the first Camp Themes

This camp is perfect for the athlete who enjoys playing a variety
of sports and also those non-traditional recreation games. Camp
focuses on a different sport each week and campers are taught skills
and participate in games and activities in sports such as soccer,
basketball, flag football and more. We cap it all off with an Olympics
Week to celebrate the Olympic Games, highlight our campers, and
learn a little bit about international sports and athletes. All of our
camps have an emphasis of sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership
and being kind to our fellow campers. This camp offers two separate
four-week sessions. Registration for the full session is required.

CREATIVE YOU
Creative You is an arts-based summer day camp that caters to
adolescent artists of all experience levels. Throughout the week,
staff lead students through a variety of structured art projects using
diverse mediums and techniques. In addition to exploring the world
of art, campers take breaks for classic camp games and local field
trips. Campers are broken into cohorts and spend a significant part
of the day outdoors. Previous CR8TV U campers will find plenty of
new activities and projects to keep them interested and having fun.
Creative You is for the creative camper who loves art.

STEM EXPLORATIONS
Did you know that scientists gather information about the world
around them using their powers of observation? In this week-
long program, middle school students explore STEM (science,
technology, engineering, and math) fields connected to research at
UW Madison. Students engage in activities to make observations
and investigate environmental science, explore a variety of STEM
careers, and discover their science identity. The majority of
activities take place outdoors and allow students to explore the
natural world while maintaining physical distancing.
