CTU Nelspruit is situated in the city of Mbombela in the Eastern part of South
Africa and is the capital of the Mpumalanga province. The city serves as a
gateway to some of the best eco- and adventure activities in Southern Africa and
with its moderate climate, it has become a preferred tourist destination all year
round. FThe city offers world class shopping malls for shopping enthusiasts. CTU
Nelspruit is situated in the Riverside Junction Shopping Centre on the Corner of
the R40 and Botanical Gardens Road, within walking distance from the Riverside
Shopping Mall, as well as the Grove Riverside, which contains a McDonalds, a
large SuperSpar and other take away and convenience outlets. The campus has
ample parking and a vibrant atmosphere. We are situated right opposite the
Lowveld National Botanical Gardens, a major attraction in the Lowveld.
Nelspruit is also the proud owner of the striking Mbombela Stadium, which is a
true reflection of all things South African and a real treat for sports fans to visit.
The Kruger National Park is within driving distance from Nelspruit and is one
of Africa’s largest and oldest game reserves. Its high density of wild animals
includes the Big 5. Mountains, bush plains and tropical forests are all part of the
landscape.
Every year, the Innibos Arts Festival welcomes an influx of people to Nelspruit. In
addition to the fabulous performances and exquisite exhibitions, Innibos is also
about the arts, crafts and food stalls that create such a vibrant epicentre for the
festival. Hundreds of stalls are open for the entire duration of the festival, which
usually spans four days.

CTU Fun Run
The event started at our campus at Riverside Junction, and took
participants past Government Boulevard and around to the botanical
gardens before ending where it started. All participants received
medals for their efforts, and the first and second position in each
category was recorded. The prize for best-dressed individual(s) went
to Phumzile Mogale and Thandeka Modishana (left). Sifiso Shange
