Our clients have commissioned Javelin Group, one of the leading shopping research organisations to produce comprehensive data analysis
for Huntingdon and the conclusions are set out below.

• Post completion of the Chequers Shopping Centre Huntingdon will become a top 250 town in VENUESCORE*

• Post completion of Chequers Shopping Centre the principal catchment population will nearly double from 71,000 to 129,000 (75%) with the total catchment
  delivering 189,000 residents. Huntingdon catchment statistics will compare with such towns as Bicester, Haywards Heath, Petersfield, and East Grinstead.

• 80% of households in Huntingdon principal catchments fall into affluence bands 1-3**.
  This represents 80% of all households in the principal catchment area (UK Average 61%) This compares with Witney and Walton on Thames

• Spending levels in the principal catchment area are 7% above the UK average

• Javelin predicts the available spending in Huntingdon’s principal catchment to double to £87million for clothing, footwear and accessories.

• Javelin Property SHOPSCORE*** for assessing retail performance shows that Huntingdon will perform as well
  as Uxbridge, Epsom and Walton on Thames
