Lauer's Letter
Another year gone by, and what a year it was. 2020 has been trying for everyone and the gun industry has been no exception. Insane
purchasing due to rioting, lockdowns, and just plain boredom has created a supply and demand whirlwind unlike anything seen in many
years. We have experienced an increase in sales unlike
anything we have ever dealt with. We appreciate the
patience of all of our customers, dealers, and finishers
while we do our best to meet your needs and get your
orders out as fast as possible.
The tremendous increase in the volume of orders has
finally pushed us to make the leap to build an additional,
new facility to add to our manufacturing, packaging, and
shipping capabilities. We are looking forward to this new
space to meet the increased demand head on. Never put all your eggs in one basket is a motto we live by after having our original
shop burn down twice in the past. This new facility will be the fourth location in our arsenal. Separate facilities in near proximity for
manufacturing, packaging, shipping, and storage have allowed us to grow safely and with much flexibility. We look forward to sharing
the progress as we break ground as early as this winter.
For 2021 we are releasing five new colors to the DuraCoat® Bad Ass™ line up. The overwhelming success of Bad Ass has created
demand for more choices and we will of course deliver. If you haven’t yet tried DuraCoat® Bad Ass™, we suggest you give it a go.
The increased corrosion protection, self-lubricating properties, and self-etching properties make this coating the best yet without
compromising the user-friendly characteristics DuraCoat® is known for.
We are also working with Kryptek® in a long-awaited partnership to offer
Officially Licensed CamoPaks™ and Peel ‘N Spray Templates™ in both the original
pattern and their new Kryptek® Obskura™. You can now match your firearm and
accessories to your favorite apparel.
Here’s to another year, hopefully a little less insane.

DuraCoat® is available in an ever-expanding line of colors, sizes,
CamoPaks™, and finishing kits for the beginner or professional. DuraCoat®
means you’ll never worry about rust or corrosion again!

▶ Applicable to all types of metals, plastic, and wood including optics and moving

▶ No preheating or baking and has excellent abrasion and mar resistance as well as
resistance to solvents and cleaners.
DuraCoat® SL
DuraCoat® SL (Self-Lubricating) has added lubricity for the ultimate self-
lubricating/non-stick firearm finish.
▶ Perfect lubricity for the moving parts of a firearm, plus the corrosion resistant
characteristics of DuraCoat® Original, and offering the highest degree of scratch
resistance.
▶ Contains FluorAx, our proprietary blend of lubricating chemicals which inhibits
substances containing water or oil from adhering to the surface of DuraCoat® SL.
▶ DuraCoat® SL may have a slightly higher sheen than DuraCoat® Original. If this is
undesirable for your application, use DuraCoat® Flattening Agent to alter the sheen.
