Due to the size of the league and anticipated growth, Bambino
was split into two (2) age groups, Jr Bambino (Age 6) and

pitch/t-ball combination, while Bambino will be machine
pitch only. If numbers do not allow for the two leagues to be
operated separately, the leagues will be combined back into
one league.

                                                                                  NEW* MLB Jr. Home Run Derby
                                                                                  Major League Baseball and Fuquay-Varina Parks and
                                                                                  Recreation are teaming up once again to bring you the
                                                                                  Jr. Home Run Derby (JrHRD). The Jr. Home Run Derby
                                                                                  provides players an opportunity to participate in an exciting
                                                                                  home run derby contest. JrHRD is a FREE national
                                                                                  program from boys and girls 14 years of age and under.
                                                                                  The program includes three levels of competition with top
                                                                                  performers from the local level advance to regional level
                                                                                  and ultimately, the National Finals prior to the Major League
                                                                                  Baseball Home Run Derby during MLB All-Star Week.
