PERFORMANCE LEVELS
Premier Diamond Products uses a simple star rating system to identify the different performance levels of our products.
These performance levels are colour coded and all diamond blades and cores have a corresponding colour label to help you identify the right product for your
application and budget.
All performance levels undergo the same rigorous levels of testing and safety procedures as part of the manufacturing process.
PREMIER 3 STAR
The Premier Entry-level range, offers an excellent balance between economy and
productivity. Users enjoy good cutting speed and life across a broad range of building
materials providing unbeatable value for money.
PREMIER 3 STAR product identification labels are colour coded yellow.
PREMIER 4 STAR
The Premier Standard range of products from PDP is designed for more regular users still
looking to balance price with performance. The Premier 4 star product range is

HIGH PERFORMANCE DIAMOND BLADES

The EVOCUT is a professional grade laser welded blade that is

1116 LITRE DUST CONTROL TANK
Whilst using a petrol disc cutter to cut concrete and
other masonry materials, the dust created causes a
multitude of problems, from a nuisance to passing
members of the public to the far more serious issue
of air bourne dust that contains respirable crystalline
silica (RCS) - This is a serious health hazard and is
being closely monitored by the HSE, who have
produced a leaflet titled 'dust control on cut off saws
used for stone or concrete cutting' (construction sheet
54).
PDP's dust control tank can help limit the RCS
becoming air bourne during cutting, reducing the risk
of inhaling the RCS dust.

P6-VBP
PORCA-FAST is a new design of professional vacuum brazed

The P5-VB is a vacuum brazed diamond blade that is suitable
P5-VB steel sections, sheet metal, aluminium, copper, rubber, cast
iron, bricks, blocks, regular building materials and cement
based fibre board. Vacuum brazing is a material joining
process that directly bonds diamonds to the blade. It is a
three step process that creates a bond which is significantly
stronger than alternative joining methods.

14LOOPING DIAMOND BLADES
PDP’s Looping diamond blades are available in 350mm
P6-LBC diameter with either 8 or 10mm wide segments. They are
primarily used on floor saw machines for cutting wide channels
in concrete or asphalt when preparing for the installation of
traffic detector loop management systems. This is a sub-surface
method of identifying the presence and speed of a vehicle at
traffic lights and security barriers etc.

16TILE DRILLING / VACUUM BRAZED DIAMOND HOLE SAWS

P5-VBHS that are vacuum brazed to the leading edge.
This material joining process creates a bond which is

Our range of auto-cool diamond tile drills are filled with a
P6-ATD lubricating wax. During the drilling process the leading edge of
the wax melts and auto-cools the diamonds meaning there is
no need to apply a secondary coolant, such as water.

P5-HCG specifically fit the Hilti DG150 diamond grinding machine. The
high quality diamond segments have been designed to work at

24EVODRILL DRY DIAMOND CORES
P5-EDDC
The EVODRILL is a high quality dry diamond core for use on
hard materials such as, concrete with hard aggregate, clay
building materials such as, standard house bricks, concrete
blocks, breeze blocks, handmade bricks, building blocks & York
stone. EVODRILLS can be used on rotary and percussion
function and subtle pulsing from the percussion mechanism
means the EVODRILL will drill faster and work harder through
a wider range of materials when compared to other makes of
diamond cores.

27DRY DIAMOND CORE DUST EXTRACTION PLATES
Simple and efficient way of controlling airborne dust, whilst dry
core drilling. Because the dust is drawn at source this method
is more effective than costlier dust swivel accessories.
Additionally, both slotted or dry cores can be used. Simply
attach to the hose of any suitable dust extraction unit and
place against the surface and allow the dust plate to gain
suction. For best results use on flat surfaces.

29WET DIAMOND CORES FOR CONCRETE & REINFORCED CONCRETE
The P5-WC wet diamond cores are designed for drilling into
P5-WC concrete & reinforced concrete by using suitable diamond drill
motors that run at appropriate speeds. The machine speed is
mainly dependent on the core size and strength of the
concrete. Ideally a drilling rig stand is recommended as this
can be fixed down to ensure there is no movement in the
set-up, however for smaller diameters it is possible to use some
diamond motors hand held.
A constant flow of water of up to 2 litres per minute is
advisable on most reinforced concrete applications so a direct
mains water feed is thoroughly recommended. The P5-WC wet
cores can also be used to drill most hard natural stones.
35mm cores are 10mm high crown design segments.
Sizes 38 to 500mm are made using 10mm high segments.
Wet cores can be re-tipped subject to the barrel being in

PDP have made diamond cores in-house for over 25 years. This facility allows us to react quickly to requests for special diameters and barrel lengths or a mix of
segment bonds for unusual application.
Re-tipping Service
Our popular re-tipping service offers a 50% saving over buying new cores. Customers are provided with heavy-duty pallet boxes to store used cores, which PDP
collect on request. Re-tipped cores are then returned as good as new helping customers maximize their profit.
