Key Speaker Veterinary Homeopathy Translating animals' movement and behaviour to their simillima Homeopathy is an energy medicine. This can be experienced in uncompensated human case taking, especially when the patient is led to the level of source or sensation. However animals don't talk in a tongue we are familiar with. How can an animal's vital force can be perceived? A photon is one of the simplest forms of energy, and is defined in terms of amplitude, frequency, wavelength and speed. Like all energy, it is simply motion. It is observation of the movement in veterinary cases that reveals the remedy, and is as important as the story.
Through video of cured cases from different kingdoms we will explore the world of animal energy and a route to the similimum. Speaker: Treatment of Acute and Chronic Cases 11:00am - 11:30am, Oct 12 Salisbury Suite According to the "Levels of Health" model of Prof. Vithoulkas, analysed and repertorised with the programme VithoulkasCompass Speaker: 11:30am Improving the Success of Homeopathy at chronic diseases with G.Vithoulkas' theory of "Levels of Health" 11:30am - 12:00pm, Oct 12 Salisbury Suite Spiros Kivellos George Vithoulkas (1) Centre of Classical Homeopathy (2) University of the Aegean, International Academy of Classical Homeopathy We have presented a study at the 4th European Headache and Migraine Trust International Congress 2014, concluding that the reappearance of high fever on migraine patients, after individualized homeopathic treatment, is a valuable Geoff Johnson Homeopath and homeopathic vet, Wiveliscombe Homeopathic Surgery Ana Pombo MPharm, ND, IACH Dip., Homeoclinic (1), (2)
prognostic factor and at ‘Autoimmunity 2017 - where are we now’ New York conference, a study titled: “Assessing human healthCorrelation of autoimmune diseases with chemically suppressed acute infections of patient’s past medical history”. The levels of health theory was originally presented in the book the “Science of Homeopathy” and recently in a more complete form in the book “The Levels of Health”. Initially, the classi cation of the patients' health level was conceived and created in order to understand and explain the di erent reactions that patients experienced following the administration of a homeopathic remedy.
But, it soon became clear that applying certain guidelines of this theory in homeopathic clinical practice, can e ectively improve the success of Homeopathy , o ering cure and not only treatment to patients with chronic diseases.
According to this theory, patients may be classi ed into di erent levels of health, depending on the ability of their psycho-neuro-immunological pro le to ght against di erent disease agents with clear and strong symptoms, forming a clear “homeopathic picture” of one remedy, or not. The appearance or not of therapeutic aggravation, the reappearance of febrile acute diseases of patient’s past medical history, potency selection, changing remedy on time, are all dependent on individual’s level of health. This knowledge is a valuable aid to all medical homeopaths.

4:30pm Homeopathic Prescribing and the Human Genome Project: a novel approach using gene nosodes 4:30pm - 5:00pm, Oct 12 Salisbury Suite The Human Genome Project has revolutionised personalised medicine, with far-reaching implications for healthcare. Homeopathy is pre-eminently an individualised medicine, but there has been negligible use of human genetic sarcodes or nosodes.
For this research project, methods include downloading specific gene data for selected diseases from the US National Library of Medicine Human Genome database and Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man database. Data is organised using Genome Workbench software, and streamed wirelessly from computer to a waterproof sealed datastick held inside a water and alcohol filled container. A sample of this is utilised as mother tincture for manufacturing a Hahnemannian remedy through potentisation and succession to 30c. Over 300 gene datasets of different diseases have been made into homeopathic ‘gene nosodes’.
On an individual case basis, such gene nosodes have been empirically found to be potent prescriptions. A more formal clinical proving is underway, with preliminary results available at Congress. Each patient serves as their own control in a cross-over design with placebo and gene nosode remedy. Patients undergo a homeopathic and medical history, and also software driven genealogy analysis to obtain search criteria for selecting gene nosodes for the study treatment arm. The findings of this project will be of value in the 21st century application of homeopathy, and its integration with bioinformatics, genetics and personalised medicine.

Salisbury Suite Veterinary Homeopathy The case is of a 6 year old Weimaraner bitch taken in emergency to the surgery after she was bitten by an adder in the lip. She arrived with a temperature of 40.5C (normal is 38.5C)) and could barely walk. Her lips were very swollen. Three remedies, prescribed successively, bring her back to normal: Apis, Vipera beris and the Ferrum phos. Three techniques were used: acute prescribing, repertorisation and knowledge of remedy pictures coming from French work. Ferrum phos was a deep acting remedy for this patient. Its materia medica will be discussed based on the work by French and Belgian colleagues and another case of a chronic prescription of Ferrum phos in an old recumbent Rottweiler will be presented in support of the remedy discussion.

10:00am Individualised Homeopathic Treatment 10:00am - 10:30am, Oct 13 Princes Suite Key Speaker In addition to conventional treatment in Type II Diabetic patients in Hong Kong Speaker: Behavioural Problems in Companion Animals – Homeopathic Treatment 10:00am - 10:30am, Oct 13 Salisbury Suite Veterinary Homeopathy Veterinarians are often asked to treat dogs and cats with behavioral problems.
Current conventional treatment includes behavioral modification programs, training, management, and medication. Homeopathy is an optimal modality to help provide deep and lasting cure to patients with behavior problems. The homeopath will take care to avoid proving symptoms; frequent re-evaluation, and the possible use of low potencies or LM potencies may be helpful. Successful homeopathic prescribing requires an understanding of the behavioral problem, and how it relates to normal animal behavior. Many caretakers do not understand normal animal behavior, and may employ aversive methods in attempts to change the patient’s behavior.
Behavioral problems may be the patient’s only concern, they may be manifestations of other illness, or they may be caused by medication, diet, or environment. In many cases, the animal’s caretaker will require support and training to understand how to help their animal, and to avoid exacerbating the situation. The homeopath will evaluate all aspects of the patient before prescribing, as illustrated by these three cases. Prescribing based on the totality of symptoms results in a gentle cure.
