captain as well, if he/she wants to take part in the relay.

Registration is only possible online. Registrations by email will not be accepted.

With your registration, you also confirm that you have read and accepted the General Terms and
Conditions. The entry fee will be collected only by credit card transaction (plus 9% Processing Fee

Before the Race

Accreditation and Race Pack

You will be informed of the opening hours for accreditation via our social media website, the
homepage and via newsletter. Upon presenting the official registration confirmation and the identity
card/passport, you will receive your race pack and 3 starter bags. MINOR PARTICIPANTS must give
their consent to the accreditation by the legal representative in accordance with §108 para. 1 BGB
(German Civil Code). This consent must be given by the legal representative personally on site. The
legal representative must be able to identify himself/herself with identification. For the exact procedure,
please look on our homepage.

Race Information

All race information will be made available on time before the event on our homepage
www.hamburg.triathlon.org. Each participant should also have a look at the competition briefing video
and the online booklet with all competition information on our website. Changes and updated
information will be posted at the accreditation area as well, if applicable. We request all participants to
read the published information carefully before the start!

Timekeeping

Time keeping will be in real time through a timing chip, to be attached to the participant’s left ankle.
You will find this chip in your race pack. The timing chip acts as relay baton. The swimmer passes the
baton to the biker in the assigned area at the transition area. After finishing the bike course the cyclist
passes the baton in the same area at the transition area to the runner. Your time will be taken at the
start and finish lines and check points at the end of the distances, as well as at the entrance and exit
of the transition area. Your final times will be made available on the homepage after the competition.

Bike Check in and Transition Area

The exact check-in time for your bike and equipment into transition area will depend on your start time.
The check-in times will be published on our website and in the online-booklet with all competition
information.

Important notice: Your bike must be checked in before the swimmer starts the race (not after the
start!)

Starter Bag Drop-Off

Please deposit all items you need for the competition in the yellow box next to your bike in the
transition area. NOTE: You are not allowed to enter the transition area again before the official
check-out times. You should place all personal items that you need directly after the race in your
starter bag, which you can drop off at a central collection point immediately before the race begins.
The Competition

promenade Jungfernstieg. For an overview of the entire race course, go to our website:
