       HOW TO APPLY

Each scholarship is unique, but there is one simple application process.

               READ THE GUIDELINES CAREFULLY
Before submitting your online application, read the guidelines
of scholarships you are interested in to check your eligibility
and any restrictions if you are offered multiple scholarships.
You may be required to choose your preferred scholarship.

               APPLY EARLY
The online application for scholarships detailed in this guide opens
in October 2018. Closing dates may occur before you have been
offered a place of study with CQUniversity, so it is practical to apply
for scholarships early, even if it means applying prior to receiving
an offer. Provided you meet the scholarship eligibility criteria and
guidelines, you may also be eligible for more than one scholarship.

KNOW WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD
You have a great story to tell, so don’t be afraid to tell it! Talk about
your strengths, achievements and goals in your written submission.

               APPLY ONLINE
As a domestic student, you will need to complete your application
               online at www.cqu.edu.au/scholarships. When completing
your application online, be sure to follow the prompts and
               provide any relevant supporting documentation.
If you would like to be considered for scholarships that include low income
or financial disadvantage as selection criteria, you will need to provide
a current Centrelink Income Statement and/or three current payslips.
These documents are evidence of your income status and are used to
assess your eligibility. You can download your Centrelink Income Statement
using your Centrelink online account through MyGov or by visiting
               Centrelink Online Services at www.humanservices.gov.au/centrelink.
Once you have submitted your application, an acknowledgment email will
be sent to you. Please contact us if you do not receive this confirmation.
