Ultra Series Condensing Tankless water heater
that incorporates a circulation pump into the
water heater cabinet.
• Two ThermaCirc360™ models are available.
RUR98i, indoor model (shown here).
RUR98e, outdoor model.
• Both RUR models are available in
Natural Gas or Propane versions.
• MC-195T Controllers are available
with each model and must be wired
for remote use.
• Each model includes an Isolation
Valve Kit and a Thermal By-Pass Valve.
4/10/2018 21ThermaCirc360™ : Modes of operation
There are two circulation modes for the ThermaCirc360™
models.
1. Dedicated Mode:
The Dedicated Mode requires a dedicated circulation return line in the
plumbing system. The water heater will be shipped configured for the
Dedicated Mode.
2. Cross Over Mode:
The Cross Over Mode is optional for applications that do not have a
dedicated circulation return line. To use the water heater in this mode
requires installation of the thermal bypass valve in the plumbing system
and a simple reconfiguration of the water heater.
• The thermal bypass valve will be included with the water heater. The
procedure to configure the water heater for the Cross Over Mode will be
explained in a later slide.

The Rinnai Direct Vent Furnace has the ability to heat an entire structure from a central room. Here’s how:
• 2nd law of thermodynamics – Heat seeks cold
• Once the main room approaches

the set point temperature, the
heat begins to move to other
rooms— heat seeking cold.
• The variable gas valve and
blower control will modulate to
ensure heat reaches the
remainder of the structure
without overheating the main
area.

Q Series
The Q Series Boilers are similar to E Series in design, operation, service and maintenance,
but differ in that a LLH is provided and the cover is metal with a sealed combustion
chamber. Available in 4 Heat Only and 1 Combi models.
Q Series Boilers are ideal for Space Heating in all single family homes and some light
commercial applications. Q Series Heat Only boilers can be used in conjunction with any
indirect tank. Rinnai also offers 1 Q175 Combi boiler that is factory fitted with a 6.6 gallon
Indirect Tank and Thermostatic Mixing Valve capable of delivering 4.1gpm @ a 75°rise.
QP 130
QP130 all in one boiler is the premier choice for comfort, efficiency, and high performance
domestic hot water production. The QP130 can delivery nearly 60 gallons of hot water in a
10 minute period and has the ability to recover the tank in less than 10 minutes.
QP130 Boiler uses much less floor space than conventional floor boilers and indirect tank.
This combination boiler provides 211 gallons in first hour recovery, which out performs
many 40 - 45 gallon indirect tanks
