Message from the University

                              Professor Paul Layzell
                              Principal

Royal Holloway is one of the largest multi-faculty Colleges within the University of London and combines a distinguished
history with a reputation for cutting-edge thinking and academic innovation.

We sit within the 25% of UK universities for research–rated as world-leading and internationally excellent. The University’s eminent staff works
at the forefront of their subject areas and 81% of their research is rated as world-leading and internationally excellent (Research Excellence
Framework, 2014). Our high scores for teaching excellence in the 2018 National Student Survey also demonstrate that our students value the
inspiring, research-led teaching that our academics deliver at Royal Holloway.

   The Royal Holloway, University of London Degree gained by our talented and high-achieving graduates is valued by employers the world over;
97% of our 2015 Management graduates were in work, further study or both, six months after graduating (Destination of Leavers from Higher
Education Survey, 2016). Furthermore, the average earnings of our students five years after graduating is in the top 10% of all UK universities
   (Longitudinal Education Outcomes, 2018).

Through Kaplan in Singapore, you will have the opportunity to study a Royal Holloway, University of London Degree programme taught by Royal
Holloway staff and supported by online resources in Singapore. You will experience our innovative teaching that has meaning and impact in
the world at large and you will work with research-leading academics to develop the key skills of analysis, creative thinking and presentation.
We look forward to bringing the Royal Holloway experience to Singapore and invite you to join us there.

                              Professor Gloria Agyemang
                              Professor of Accounting
                              and Head of the School

The School of Business and Management at Royal Holloway is successful, friendly, ambitious and focused. We offer a full
programme of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Our students learn from academic staff who, through their world-leading research, seek to both understand and influence the actions of
managers in private, public and not-for-profit areas, and to share that understanding with students.

In joining our programmes, you will have access to the very latest thinking in management that will equip you to succeed in a global economy,
to bridge cultures and geographies, and to develop an astute social awareness that will be critical to your future as a leader.

By bringing our undergraduate programmes in Business and Management to students in Singapore, in conjunction with Kaplan in Singapore,
we aim to bring the opportunity to study for a Royal Holloway, University of London Degree to those of you who, for many reasons, cannot come
to Royal Holloway in the UK to study. I look forward to welcoming you as a Royal Holloway undergraduate student, and sharing the success of
   your studies with us.

What attracted me to Royal Holloway, University of London (RHUL) was its reputable ranking within the
UK as well as worldwide. In-line with the prominence of the University of London name, Royal Holloway

field. Another selling point of the programme is its healthy mix of assignments, tests and projects used
                                    for grading and assessments.

In addition to my academic achievements, I have learned to work with people of contrasting personalities,

As every module comes with different lecturers, both local and RHUL flown-in, this brings a variety of

Graduates’ Testimonials

Amidst the economic volatility and geopolitical tensions, I knew that it was critical to further my
studies. Compared to the other universities, Royal Holloway, University of London has a global
           reputation for high-quality education.

The Degree has facilitated my career progression from a Leading Steward with an airline to a
Relationship Manager with a bank. I would recommend Royal Holloway, University of London because
it is an Honours Degree recognised globally that will bring you abundant job opportunities.

What initially attracted me to take up the Degree programme were the International Business modules I
would undertake as part of my studies. I am keen to understand how businesses in other countries operate
and what makes them tick. I was further motivated by my desire to further my career and be a strong
           provider for my family.

What sealed my decision was the school’s reputation and professionalism, as well as its highly experienced
lecturers. During my studies, we had to do research on different markets in Asia, UK and US in order to gain
an intimate understanding of how governments and culture can impact consumer behavior.

After completing my Degree last year, I have a better understanding of how businesses work globally.
Today, even my boss values my feedback and is willing to share with me his strategies and plans for
           overseas expansion.

Equipped with a newfound confidence and clarity in my life goals since completing the Degree, I have
decided to launch my own e-commerce business, focusing on the US market.

My consideration for choosing a Degree was based on two key factors – the value-addedness of the
programme on my career prospects, and the quality of teaching. Royal Holloway, University of London
           matched both criteria.

The professors from Royal Holloway, University of London who came to teach at Kaplan, are experienced
specialists in their respective fields, with the ability to foster critical thinking. The programme equipped me
with the knowledge to understand the dynamics of international business and soft skills, which improved
my communication skills and my ability to make compelling and persuasive business presentations.

Opportunities started knocking right after my graduation with a First Class Honours Degree. I was head
hunted and joined a multinational media company as a Client Specialist. Within a year, I was promoted
to the role of Client Manager, which gave me the opportunity to be involved in commercial decisions and
discussions with C-level executives of reputable MNCs.

The understanding of business strategies and cultures provided me with a bird’s-eye view of every client’s
business needs, and this helped developed strong customer relationships. In 2018, I was offered the
position of Regional Director, South East Asia for CRU. Choosing this Degree is one of the best investments
           I have ever made.
