Bespoke Painted Pet Portrait
Guide Price: £80 Lot Number 1
Your chance to own a unique bespoke painting of a beloved pet.
A painting of a pet is a wonderful, personal gift for yourself or
someone else. Commissioned just for you, by talented local pet
portrait artist Samantha Marriott.
Each portrait will be painted in
acrylics on box canvas, and will
be approximately 12” square
and delivered directly to you.
Samantha will work from a couple
of photos you provide, to make sure
she can see all your pet’s distinctive
markings and details. Photos need to be
of a good quality and not blurred.

Bid on this unique lot - the chance to have a bespoke t-shirt
created for you, or as a gift for a family member. Designed by local
artist Sarah Owen, who has had her work featured in a BBC art
exhibition, this is a fantastic opportunity to own a truly original
t-shirt.
Sarah will create a digital illustration of up to two characters plus a
background which she will print on a white cotton t-shirt.
The illustration will be based on a couple of photos you provide, or from
images of a character of your choice. Images/photos need to be of good
quality.

All proceeds from the Gala Dinner Auction will go towards Global
Care’s 35th Anniversary Appeal.
We want to raise a minimum of £35,000 to develop new initiatives
targeting children with mobility difficulties in rural Rukungiri.
Children with disabilities in Uganda find it very difficult to access
education, due not only to discrimination from their communities
and families but also to access problems. Schools are not built
to be accessible, and appropriate transport in rural areas such as
Rukungiri can be impossible.
Our pilot project will support up to 20 children with disabilities in
tackling the challenges they face in accessing education, working
with their families and local schools. This will include making school
buildings fully accessible, supplying mobility aids, supporting
transport options as well as providing learning materials and
welfare support. After the first year, we hope to use the evidence
from the pilot project to target effective sustainable solutions,
helping more children with disabilities access education.
