WOOBURN NARKOVIANS cricket season is underway again in what
we hope will be a full and uninterrupted season
Whilst the early part of the season will be subject to progressively lifted Covid restrictions, we
are glad that organised sport is back for us all to enjoy. The club always welcomes new players,
officials and supporters, so please feel free to come down to the club at the weekend and find out

We play in the Thames Valley league on great introduction to the game for children and starts

ROASTED VEGETABLE TAGLIATELLE
I've wanted to create a healthy, yet comforting, recipe with lots of fresh
vegetables recently and I surprised myself at how yummy this was!
I served it with a side salad and my Mum's (secret) homemade salad
dressing to make it feel even fresher.
I hope you enjoy it on a lovely summer's day soon!
INGREDIENTS Preheat the oven
to 200°C/ 190°C
(serves 4-5) Fan. Roughly slice

Having left you last time with the wonderful photo of the shopping experiment in the

was wonderful having the short spell of sunshine, then a
sprinkling of snow too. Any chance of planting will have
to wait until earliest the end of April to ensure the frost
has passed.
We have added more raised beds
with trellises for the tomatoes and
sunflowers and planted the sweet
peas in a bed with a wigwam cane
structure; these are very hardy
against frost and so far they have
held out on their own.
The logs have been cut up for our
bug hotel, which still needs to be
named.
I’m lucky enough to have a lovely
sunny conservatory at home to sow
and grow in. This month I’ve made
a start on some seeds I’ve never planted A new learning lesson for me this month after watching

A LOCAL MURDER MYSTERY: THE MARLOW MURDER CLUB
Written by local author Robert Thorogood, creator of the long running TV series, Death in Paradise,
this is set in and around the Marlow area. It introduces 77 year old Judith Potts, who witnesses a brutal
murder while out swimming in the

attempts to uncover who did it, she
starts investigating, and soon hooks
up with the salt-of-the-earth Suzie, a
local dogwalker, and Becks, the Vicar's
perfect Home Counties' wife. Together,
they are the Marlow Murder Club.
And when another body turns up,
they begin to realise that they have a
real-life serial killer on their hands.

Heart of Bucks have awarded the first grant from their Community Investor
fund to Wycombe Wanderers Sports and Education Trust.
The Community Investor fund was established in November 2020 and enables businesses to join
together to support the community where they work, safe in the knowledge that Heart of Bucks
has the local expertise to maximise the funds and the impact that they make here in Bucks.
